Valencia vs Real Madrid Prediction, Picks & Odds (La Liga, Nov 7, 2026)
By SportsHub Model · Edited by Kyle Parker
The 20-second version
- No edge: the model's 81% on Real Madrid clears the -380 price only because it gives the draw 5%; the market prices it near 15%.
- Valencia have eight league goals in 11 games, tied for the fewest in La Liga, and no wins in six home games (0-2-4).
- Kylian Mbappé has 12 league goals in 11 games; Vinícius Júnior serves the last game of his domestic ban.
- Real Madrid have won four straight in La Liga and five straight in all competitions.

Real Madrid (9 wins, 2 losses, 27 points) visit 19th-place Valencia (2-3-6, 9 points) at Mestalla on Saturday, Nov 7, at 3:00 PM ET on ESPN Deportes and ESPN+. Los Blancos are around -380 to win in 90 minutes, up from -245 at the open. The tension: Kylian Mbappé has 12 league goals on his own, four more than Valencia's whole team. SportsHub verdict: no edge.
How these teams got here
Valencia are in a relegation fight. Nine points from 11 games puts Javier Aguirre's side 19th, one point behind 17th-place Elche, and only Málaga (5) sit below them. Last weekend's 1-0 win at Elche was their first league win since mid-September. Before it they had gone four without one: a 2-3 home loss to Real Sociedad, a 2-2 draw at Racing, a 0-0 with Athletic and a 1-2 home loss to Villarreal.
Mestalla has been no refuge. Valencia are 0-2-4 at home, with three goals scored and 11 conceded in six games, including a 0-5 loss to Barcelona in September.
Real Madrid have found their rhythm since the 2-1 loss at Atlético on Sept. 20. Four straight league wins have followed: 1-0 over Villarreal, 4-1 over Sevilla, 2-1 at Barcelona and 3-0 at Racing. They also beat Leipzig 4-1 and AEK Athens 3-2 in the Champions League. They have scored 28 league goals (2.55 per game) and allowed 10. Away from the Bernabéu they are 4-0-2, and both losses came at Betis and Atlético. A win lifts them to 30 points, level with leaders Barcelona before Atlético–Barça on Sunday.
The schedule spot slightly favors the hosts. Madrid played in Athens on Wednesday, while Valencia have had a full week since Elche.
Mbappé against the league's quietest attack
This matchup comes down to one side's finishing. Mbappé has 12 goals on 58 shots in 11 league games. Jude Bellingham adds four goals and three assists, Arda Güler has three assists, and Yan Diomande has chipped in three goals. Madrid's back line, built around Dean Huijsen and Ibrahima Konaté, has allowed 0.91 goals per game.
Valencia's eight goals are tied for the fewest in La Liga with Getafe and Málaga. Umar Sadiq leads the club with two goals in four appearances. He is back from a hamstring injury and scored the winner off the bench at Elche. Arnaut Danjuma leads the team with 18 shots and Javi Guerra has two assists. Stole Dimitrievski has made 36 saves, and he will need plenty more on Saturday.
Who's missing
Valencia are without Sergi Canós (knee), Diego López (knee) and David Otorbi (hamstring), and José Manuel Copete (knee) is a doubt. Otorbi's absence hurts in a thin attack: he has one of the team's eight league goals. Harvey Elliott is available again after a suspension.
Madrid's biggest absence is Vinícius Júnior, who serves the last game of his domestic suspension. Rodrygo (knee) and Raúl Asencio (leg) are out, and Ferland Mendy (hip) is not expected. Per Sports Mole, Güler and Aurélien Tchouaméni have been confirmed as starters along with Huijsen and Konaté. Both midfielders sat out the trip to Athens, so they arrive fresh.
How the line has moved
The market has moved firmly toward Madrid. The 3-way price opened at Madrid -245, draw +400, Valencia +550 and now sits at -380, +550 and +950. With the vig removed, that makes it roughly 76% Madrid, 15% draw and 9% Valencia. The total sits at 3.5, with the under priced at -140.
Prediction: No edge
No edge on this game. Madrid are the right side on paper, but the price has already caught up:
- The draw gap. The model has Madrid at 81%, which clears the 79.2% break-even at -380. It gets there only by giving the draw 5%, about a third of the market's 15%.
- The model is too kind to Valencia, too. It gives the hosts 14% against the market's 9%, for a team that hasn't won at home this season and has three home goals.
- The value left with the move. Madrid at -245 was a different bet. At -380, you are paying full price for a team without Vinícius, playing its third game in a week.
- The form is real but priced in. Four straight league wins and 2.55 goals per game are why the line moved.
Swing factor: Valencia have drawn 0-0 twice at Mestalla (Celta, Athletic). If they keep it level past the hour, the draw at +550 comes into play.
On the total: Valencia's home games have averaged 2.3 goals (14 in six), and Madrid's away games 3.0 (18 in six). The numbers point under 3.5, but at -140 the price takes most of that edge, so we're passing there too.
