Week 9 NCAA Picks

Week 9 NCAA

Teams are starting to separate themselves from the rest of the pack in their respective conference races. Sports Hub is separating itself from the rest of the industry with its Week 9 NCAA football picks. Once again, we are blessed with a massive week of college football. There are huge conference rivalries as well as matchups between teams both ranked in the latest AP and CFP polls.

Now in the second half of the season, you should take some time to evaluate your betting performance. If you are not tracking your bets, you should be. Keep track of your Week 9 NCAA football picks just like our Sports Hub handicappers do. Well, our software keeps track of every pick made by our handicappers, but you get the idea. If you don’t know why you keep losing or winning, you can’t make any adjustments to your betting.

Betting College Football Parlays

One popular bet during college football season is the parlay. For those that are unaware, a parlay is a single bet that is made up of multiple bets. For example, a bettor can wager on two separate college football games and combine the two into a single parlay bet. Let’s take the following two games from Week 9:

  • Ohio State-Wisconsin
  • Georgia-Florida

Using Sports Hub’s Week 9 NCAA football picks, a bettor submits a parlay ticket backing both Ohio State and Georgia to cover the spread. If both teams do cover, the parlay bet is a winner. However, if just one of the two bets is a loser, the whole parlay is a loser.

It can be advantageous to bet on parlays because of the odds. Parlays are riskier bets and, therefore, come with higher odds. Instead of betting on those two games individually at -110 each, a bettor could get +260 odds by combining them into a parlay.

It’s another week of college football which means it’s another work week for our Sports Hub handicappers. Over the first few weeks of the season, our experts have consistently produced wins and have increased their own bankrolls. Smart bettors would be wise to follow. Sports Hub members have access to all of our Week 9 NCAA football picks. There are a number of free picks offered by our cappers. They also offer premium service plays. In the first few weeks of the 2023 season, several Sports Hub cappers had winning percentages above 60 percent.

Don’t forget the Sports Hub computer picks, too. Our artificial intelligence algorithms were built by our college football experts. Sports Hub college football computer picks have real value as they are only released when there is at least a two-point difference between the actual betting line and our computer-generated line. There are weeks when there are only a few computer picks, and there are also weeks when there are several. To access these, all it takes is a Sports Hub membership. Best Pick ATS

The Oregon Ducks take on the Utah Utes in a huge Pac-12 Conference matchup of 6-1 teams. Oregon is the favorite in this game on the road, and that Ducks offense should have a monster game in this one.

Utah is still playing without quarterback Cameron Rising, and they just haven’t been consistent enough on offense to trust them to win this game. Oregon is going to pull away from Utah late in this game, and taking them to cover the spread is one of the top Week 9 NCAA Football picks to make.

Oregon Ducks -6.5

Best Moneyline Pick

Oregon State travels to Arizona this weekend, and this should be an interesting game in the Pac-12 Conference. Both of these teams have shown the ability to score some points, and they will be trading big plays this weekend.

Oregon State is a slim 3.5-point betting favorite in this game, but this is a game that a field goal will decide. Arizona is good enough to keep this game close, and you just want to bet on Oregon State to win this game outright.

Oregon State Beavers -135

Best Total Pick

The Ohio State Buckeyes look to remain undefeated as they have a difficult trip to Wisconsin ahead of them this weekend. Ohio State just survived a tight game against Penn State, and this should be another tough day for the offense.

Wisconsin is a team that wants to run the football, and they are going to be trying to use some clock in this game. Look for the Badgers to slow this one way down, and that’s going to keep the point total low on Saturday.

Ohio State Buckeyes/Wisconsin Badgers Under 43.5

Best Player Prop

The Washington Huskies are all the way up to number 5 in the most recent poll, and they will look to stay undefeated this weekend at Stanford. It’s been another rough year for the Cardinal, and things won’t get any easier this weekend.

Michael Penix Jr. is the favorite to win the Heisman Trophy this season, and he is going to have a monster day throwing the ball in this one. Look for Penix to have at least four passing touchdowns, as that is one of the top Week 9 NCAA Football picks to make this weekend.

Michael Penix Jr. Over 3.5 Passing Touchdowns

Best Team Prop

The Texas Longhorns have an interesting matchup with BYU this weekend, and Texas will be looking to move to 7-1. BYU is a team that has thrown the ball well, but they aren’t going to find much success in this game.

Texas can put points on the board in a hurry, and they are going to have the ball for much of this game. Look for the Longhorns to shine on offense in this game, as they are going to score at least 31 points on Saturday.

Texas Longhorns Over 30.5 Points

Georgia Bulldogs vs. Florida Gators

It looks as if the Georgia Bulldogs are going to finish another season with an undefeated record, but they still have some tests in front of them. Florida will be trying to provide a big test this weekend, and this is always a great rivalry game.

Georgia is a massive 14.5-point favorite this weekend, but that spread is a bit disrespectful for the Gators. Look for Florida to provide a tough challenge in Jacksonville in this game, and taking the 14.5 points is the way to go.

Florida Gators +14.5

Duke Blue Devils vs. Louisville Cardinals

ACC rivals meet up this weekend as the Duke Blue Devils are set to battle the Louisville Cardinals. Louisville is a slim four-point favorite this weekend, but there are some flaws on that team.

Duke gave Florida State a great battle for a half last weekend, and they are going to have a great game plan in place for this one as well. There is a real chance for Duke to pull off the upset this weekend, and they are going to get that done.

Duke Blue Devils Moneyline +145

USC Trojans vs. California Golden Bears

The USC Trojans are virtually out of the Pac-12 Conference race after suffering a loss to Utah last weekend. USC has now dropped two straight games, and quarterback Caleb Williams just isn’t getting enough help from his teammates.

All that is left for Williams now is to continue to try to play well in an attempt to be the number one overall pick in the 2024 NFL Draft. Look for Williams to have a big game this weekend against California, as he will throw for over 300 yards.

Caleb Williams Over 299.5 Passing Yards

Tennessee Volunteers vs. Kentucky Wildcats

SEC rivals are set to meet up this weekend as the Tennessee Volunteers take on the Kentucky Wildcats. This is always a huge rivalry game, and there will be plenty of talent on the field in this game.

Tennessee is a team that wants to score points, but Kentucky wants to slow down the action and set the tone on defense. Look for the Wildcats to control the style of play in this game, as there won’t be a ton of touchdowns in this one.

Under 51.5 Points

Indiana Hoosiers vs. Penn State Nittany Lions

The Penn State Nittany Lions will attempt to get back on track as they host the Indiana Hoosiers this weekend. Penn State had a horrible offensive game in a loss to Ohio State, but they will find some success in this game.

Indiana has had a really tough season, but they are catching Penn State at a great time ahead of this game. Don’t expect the Nittany Lions to be extremely focused for this game, and Indiana will be able to hang around long enough to keep it close.

Indiana Hoosiers +31.0

UGA-FLA and Other Week 9 NCAA Football Picks

The world’s largest outdoor cocktail party, a.k .a. the annual Georgia-Florida football rivalry game, takes place in Week 9. In addition to our other Week 9 NCAA football picks, this game will probably have dozens of picks offered by our cappers. It’s the type of game that will receive a lot of hype. Our handicappers see through all the hype and offer you CFB picks based on value.

It will be interesting to see if Florida is up to the task of upsetting the Bulldogs. The Gators have won just once in the rivalry going back to 2016. Florida was a 44-28 winner in 2020. The Bulldogs have beaten the Gators by at least 20 points in each of the past two seasons. Will that happen again? Are there any other trends that bettors should be made aware of? Does weather affect college football betting?

It is often one of the most overlooked factors in handicapping a CFB game. The weather – and the type of weather – can play a huge role in the outcome of a game. The most influential weather-related factor is wind. Wind plays a huge role in NCAA football totals. For example, in a sampling of thousands of games over the past few seasons, it has been found that winds of 13 mph or higher affect a game total. A total of 57.4 percent of a sampling of over 700 games went Under the total in a game that had winds of 13 mph or higher.
