Bill Blatt Crushes NFL Picks, Tops Leaderboard

Sports Hub expert Bill Blatt doubled up on last night’s Monday Night Football game and also nailed two MLB picks to go 4-0. He was yesterday’s big winner. We had 30 handicappers win at least $100 and our free picks tore it up. When we mention free sports pick today, you should get excited. Yesterday, Sports Hub Free Picks went 3-1.

Here’s a rundown of yesterday’s leaderboard.

Big NFL News Is the Hot Topic Today

The biggest sports news today is centered on New York Jets quarterback Aaron Rodgers. NFL fans were anticipating last night’s Monday night matchup for months. Before the Jets first series was over, the anticipation turned to speculation. Read on below for more about Rodgers.

There is plenty trending now that it is football season. Also trending are Sports Hub picks and predictions. Every day, our elite handicappers offer up free picks and premium service plays. You’ll even find a free sports pick today from many of our Sports Hub experts. You do need a SportsHub membership though. Just click the JOIN NOW button at the top of this page to get started.

Now, let’s check out the trending sports news.

  • Rodgers out: All eyes were on the Bills-Jets game last night. It was the debut of Rodgers as a Jet. It didn’t go as planned. On his fourth snap, Rodgers went down with an injury. He did not return. It is speculated that he has a serious Achilles injury.
  • Pick City: Opposite Rodgers was Bills QB Josh Allen. He’s trending, but for the wrong reasons. Allen, a perennial NFL MVP candidate, looked nothing like one last night throwing three picks. Add in a fumble and Allen had four turnovers last night. He now has 84 turnovers since his inaugural 2018 season. That’s the most in the NFL over that span. Allen also owns the worst overtime record among active quarterbacks. He’s 0-5.
  • Dinger, Dinger: Braves star Matt Olson dialed up two home runs last night against the Phillies. That gives the Atlanta slugger a total of 50. He passed up legends like Hank Aaron and Eddie Mathews on the team’s single-season HR list. He can tie Andruw Jones for the franchise record with his next blast.
  • Travis Hunter: The Colorado two-way star is something else to watch. He is a lockdown corner on defense and a fast, elusive playmaker on offense. He might not get the stats to win the Heisman, but his opening odds of +40000 are now all the way down to +5000. Don’t forget our Week 3 NCAA football picks page. It will get you ready for this week in college football.
  • NFL QBs: With Rodgers likely out for a while (if not for the season), a number of names are popping up. Matt Ryan, Colt McCoy, and Jameis Winston are a few. A Tom Brady comeback is highly unlikely, but it’s fun to speculate.

Free Sports Pick Today for MLB and Soccer

It’s almost as if we are being transported back to that lull in the summer right around the MLB All-Star game. The Wednesday after the All-Star game is typically the slowest day in sports every year. Today might be a close second.

There is a full slate of MLB games today and with the playoffs coming soon there are still some meaningful games left. The WNBA playoffs don’t start until tomorrow. That leaves soccer as the only other sport with anything on the schedule. There is a lot of it though, which will give bettors some options.

Here’s a look at what’s happening today.

  1. Key games in MLB: All 30 teams play today. There are three key games in the AL and NL playoff races. The first is Atlanta at Philadelphia. The Braves, of course, have the best record in baseball and they have clinched a spot in the postseason. The Phillies currently hold the No. 3 seed, but that could change as a result of their series with Atlanta. Check the members’ area for a free sports pick today for all the MLB games.
  2. Texas at Toronto: Max Scherzer pitches for the Rangers against a Toronto team that needs 3 straight wins over the Rangers to own the tiebreaker in the event that the two teams end up with the same record.
  1. Rays at Twins: Tampa Bay can still win the AL East. This series means a lot to the Rays who have won four straight and have a four-game series with the current division leader Baltimore that starts on Thursday.
  2. UEFA Championship Qualifying: Matches continue today for national teams to qualify for this tournament in 2024. There is a free sports pick today for a number of these matches as well as others on the schedule.
  3. Friendlies: The list of international friendlies being played today is a long one. There are matches being played right now in China and Belgium. Matches continue throughout the entire day. Team USA plays Oman at Allianz Field in Minnesota tonight. Check the members’ area for a free sports pick today.

That’s it. Baseball and soccer on this September Tuesday. It’s a good thing as we prepare for another long weekend of college and NFL football. Keep a lookout for our weekly NCAA football picks page as well as our weekly NFL picks page. They will get you primed for the weekend. And, don’t forget to look for your free sports pick today for MLB games and soccer matches. Come back to Sports Hub tomorrow for my daily report to see how our handicappers performed today. Until then…
