This week I am focusing on Serie A Matchday 14 picks. Another round of European soccer fixtures are on the schedule this weekend from the top leagues and so you know it’s time for Sports Hub’s Euro soccer picks.

Last week, I went 2-3 with my selections. It wasn’t the best of weeks but I am determined to bounce back and improve this time around! My overall record for the past month is 12-8-1, so my picks are still resulting in money in the bank.

I’m aiming to improve this week with my Serie A Matchday 14 picks. Check out my handicapper page, Ashlee Kiddell, to gain full access to all of my selections!

Euro Soccer Top Leagues – Recap

Premier League

We have a new leader atop the Premier League table as Arsenal now move to the summit. Manchester City and Liverpool drew 1-1 last Saturday, allowing the Gunners to take advantage.

The worries continue for the bottom-three as Everton, Burnley and Sheffield United all suffered defeats once again. Luton Town picked up a crucial 2-1 win at home to Crystal Palace to move four points clear of the drop zone.

Head on over to Sports Hub’s Premier League Matchweek 13 Review for a full recap of last weekend’s action. Our Premier League Matchweek 14 Predictions have also been published ahead of the next round of games.

Ligue 1

I went 2-1 with my feature Ligue 1 Matchday 13 picks last weekend. The under 2.5 goals selection in the Nice vs Toulouse match came in as it ended in a 1-0 victory for the hosts. However, the under failed to land in the Clermont vs Lens game since it ended in a 3-0 triumph for the visitors.

Nevertheless, I backed Paris Saint-Germain to win with a -1 ½ handicap at +105. That selection won as they defeated Monaco 5-2 at Parc des Princes. That result leaves them still top of the pile in Ligue 1. Nice are just a single point behind them through 13 games.

La Liga

I haven’t had the best of luck with La Liga picks this season and that trend continued last week as I lost both of my picks from the Spanish top-flight. I had over 2.5 goals in the Atletico Madrid vs Mallorca fixture that ended in a 1-0 win for the home side. I also selected the under in the Alaves vs Granada match, but that ended in a 3-1 scoreline.

Real Madrid returned to the top of La Liga with a comfortable 3-0 win away to Cadiz last time out. They are level on points with Girona who dropped points in a 1-1 draw at home to Athletic Bilbao. Almeria still sit at the bottom of the table and haven’t won a single league game thus far.

Bundesliga

I didn’t select any picks from the Bundesliga last weekend. We also saw some interesting trends as less goals were scored. Could it be a good time to look at Bundesliga Unders

Bayer Leverkusen and Bayern Munich are still yet to be defeated this term. The former currently have a two-point advantage over the latter at the top of the table. Both teams recorded the win last weekend. Teams such as Köln and Union Berlin continue to struggle down in the bottom-three and failed to win once more.

Serie A

There was a huge clash between Inter and Juventus last week which ended in a 1-1 stalemate. The Nerazzurri continue to lead the pack and are two points ahead of the Old Lady. Stay tuned for Serie A Matchday 14 picks below!

Basement-dwellers Salernitana recorded a surprise 2-1 home win over Lazio to move just one point behind Verona, but they still make up the bottom-three alongside Gialloblu and Empoli.

Euro Soccer Top Leagues – Serie A Matchday 14 Picks

Before making my picks, I will continue to use the information and research that I have discovered in my weekly Euro soccer reports. My only handicap bet won last week so let’s see if there are any more strong matchups for this market again this time around.

Equally, I am intrigued about utilizing the strategy of Bundesliga Unders. Less goals have been scored in Germany of late and it looks set to work well with the lines established by the bookmakers.

However, having analyzed the matchups, my feature selections this week will be Serie A Matchday 14 picks. I have also found alternative picks so be sure to take a look at those below.

Serie A Matchday 14 Picks – Napoli vs Inter Prediction

We have a monumental clash on show from the Diego Maradona Stadium this week as last season’s champions Napoli welcome current league leaders Inter to Naples. Check out the latest money line prices for the affair below:

  • Napoli (+175)
  • Draw (+235)
  • Inter (+138)

It hasn’t been the best of starts to the campaign as Napoli attempt to defend their crown. They sit in fourth spot but are already eight points behind Inter. Their home form has been abysmal so far this season, too, and they currently rank 16th in that metric. The Partenopei have failed to win any of their last five competitive home outings, picking up just two points.

The Nerazzurri have made an excellent claim as favorites to win the Scudetto this season. They have lost just one league game this term, dropping points in a total of three. They only managed to draw 1-1 away to Juventus last time out in Serie A, but they have the second best away record in the division.

I think Inter (+138) are good value away from home, especially due to Napoli’s struggles on their own turf this season. Therefore, I am backing them to win on the money line with the first of my Serie A Matchday 14 picks.

Best Bet: Inter (+138)

Serie A Matchday 14 Picks – Milan vs Frosinone Prediction

An injury-plagued Milan play host to newly-promoted Frosinone at San Siro on Saturday. Take a look at the latest odds for the game here for the second of my Serie A Matchday 14 picks:

  • Milan (-238)
  • Draw (+350)
  • Frosinone (+540)

Despite sitting in third-place in the Serie A table, it has been an inconsistent campaign for the Rossoneri thus far. They have won just one of their last five in the league – a 1-0 home win over Fiorentina last time out – and trail second-placed Juventus by four points. Milan have struggled in front of goal of late, scoring just once over their past three home games in Serie A.

Frosinone have made a fantastic start to life in the Italian top-flight and currently occupy a spot in mid-table. They defeated fellow Serie A new boys Genoa 2-1 at home in their last match. However, it is away from home where they have struggled. They have picked up just two points out of a possible 18 on the road.

With the likes of Rafael Leao, Malick Thiaw and Olivier Giroud all potentially missing from the lineup for Milan this weekend, it’s hard to trust them to win here. Therefore, I have found another market that I like for this pick.

Serie A Matchday 14 Picks – Udinese vs Verona Prediction

We have arrived at the final selection for my Serie A Matchday 14 picks. Both Udinese and Verona are struggling this term and they go head-to-head at Stadio Friuli on Sunday. Here you can find the latest prices for the encounter:

  • Udinese (-141)
  • Draw (+250)
  • Verona (+380)

Gabriele Cioffi’s Udinese have been poor at Stadio Friuli this season and have picked up just four points from a possible 18 at home. That means they have the joint-worst home record in Serie A. They have also scored just four goals on their own turf – the joint-lowest in the league.

Sitting second from bottom, Verona have not gotten off to a good start this term. They drew 2-2 at home to Lecce last time out and haven’t won any of their previous 11 successive Serie A games. Marco Baroni’s men have also failed to hit the back of the net in any of their last three straight road matches.

I won’t be placing a bet on the money line for this fixture. However, I have found an alternative selection that I like.

Alternative Euro Soccer Top League Picks

My Serie A Matchday 14 picks are now locked in. Let’s hope they can provide some success for me this week and I can bounce back from my underwhelming display in last weekend’s bets.

I will also be providing you with two additional picks from the rest of Europe’s top leagues. That includes selections from Ligue 1 and the Bundesliga.

For these final two picks, I have looked to the goals market. The research from my weekly reports has certainly helped me identify these games as good matchups. It’s time to take a look at my alternative Euro soccer picks!

Ligue 1 Matchday 14 Picks – Nantes vs Nice Prediction

With just one win across their last five Ligue 1 outings, Nantes face a difficult match at home to second-placed Nice on Saturday. Below you can find the latest odds for the game:

  • Nantes (+265)
  • Draw (+226)
  • Nice (+100)

Nantes are not in the best of form heading into this one and they currently sit in the bottom half of the standings. They drew 0-0 at home to ten-man Le Havre last time out and have scored just three goals over their past five matches, picking up a total of four points from a possible 15.

Having conceded just four goals this season, Nice have the best defensive record in the division and across Europe. Their 1-0 home win over Toulouse in their last match means they have now kept an incredible eight successive clean sheets. Francesco Farioli’s side last conceded back in mid-September.

Make sure you sign in to Sports Hub to gain access to this selection. It is the pick that I like the most this weekend!

Bundesliga Matchday 13 Picks – Bochum vs Wolfsburg Prediction

Hosts Bochum will be looking to continue with their solid run of form of late as they have lost just one of their last five. They welcome Niko Kovac’s Wolfsburg to Vonovia Ruhrstadion this weekend. Check out the current money line odds for the fixture here:

  • Bochum (+160)
  • Draw (+250)
  • Wolfsburg (+143)

Bochum shared the points in a 0-0 draw away to Bundesliga new boys Heidenheim last time out. That was their third draw in five matches and, despite losing just once in that time, they have picked up just one victory in that period too. Thomas Letsch’s men have failed to win any of their games on their own turf this season.

As for Wolfsburg, they picked up an impressive 2-1 triumph at home to RB Leipzig as they sit in eighth-place. However, that was their first league win in five matches and their prospects don’t look great here since they have lost their last five successive road games.

It’s hard to trust a money line selection due to the irregular form from both sides. Nevertheless, I advise looking to the goal market for this pick.
