Bundesliga Matchday 20 Picks have been confirmed! All five of the major European soccer leagues are back in action this weekend which means we’ve got plenty of fixtures to analyze before making our picks!

A total of 48 games are on the calendar across Friday to Monday from the English Premier League, Ligue 1, La Liga, Bundesliga and Serie A.

I managed to go 2-0 with my feature Ligue 1 Matchday 19 picks last week. However, my overall record for all six Euro soccer top leagues picks was 3-3, and I want to improve that this weekend.

Euro Soccer Top Leagues – Recap

Premier League

We’ve had midweek Premier League games on the cards, with the highlight matchup being Manchester United’s 4-3 win away to Wolverhampton Wanderers. Youngster Kobbie Mainoo scored a fantastic goal deep into injury time to secure the win.

Elsewhere, Liverpool thrashed Chelsea 4-1 to maintain their lead at the top of the table, whilst Manchester City piled on the misery for Burnley in a 3-1 triumph. Arsenal picked up their second consecutive win away to Nottingham Forest, but remain 5 points behind Liverpool.

Ligue 1

The action from the French top-flight returned last weekend, and league leaders Paris Saint-Germain dropped points at home to an in-form Brest side. Second-placed Nice managed to secure a narrow 1-0 win at home to Metz to reduce the gap to six points.

Marseille and Monaco also played out a thrilling 2-2 draw, with the visitors being reduced to nine men. However, defeats for Lyon and Toulouse, and draws for Lorient and Clermont mean they all continue to struggle near the foot of the table.

La Liga

The uncertainty surrounding Barcelona continued last week, and they suffered a 5-3 loss at home to Villarreal last Saturday. They bounced back midweek with a 1-0 win at home to Osasuna, but head coach Xavi Hernandez will be leaving by the end of the campaign.

Girona won again last weekend in a 1-0 victory away to Celta Vigo as their awe-inspiring season resumes. However, Real Madrid have returned to the summit following away wins against Las Palmas and Getafe.

Bundesliga

It has truly been a remarkable season so far for Bayer Leverkusen, and they still remain unbeaten and top of the Bundesliga. However, they dropped points in a 0-0 draw at home to Borussia Mönchengladbach last Saturday. Die Werkself are two points ahead of champions Bayern Munich.

Stuttgart managed to pick up a comprehensive 5-2 triumph at home to RB Leipzig as they remain in third-place. Meanwhile, the bottom-three in Mainz, Darmstadt and FC Köln all failed to win yet again. Bundesliga Matchday 20 Picks are coming up shortly.

Serie A

Leaders Inter were able to make the most out of Juventus dropping points at home to Empoli as they beat Fiorentina 1-0 away from home. The Nerazzurri are only a point ahead of the Old Lady, but they have a game in hand.

Thiago Motta’s Bologna recorded a fine 2-2 draw away to Milan as their strong season continues. Torino are also having an impressive campaign, losing just one of their last eight Serie A outings. They are in the hunt for a spot in Europe.

Euro Soccer Top Leagues – Bundesliga Matchday 20 Picks

Bundesliga Matchday 20 Picks are showing some good value this week, and so they’re our focus selections for our Euro soccer picks.

I’ve got two wagers from the German top-flight for you this weekend, as well as a further three from the rest of the top Euro soccer leagues.

Bundesliga Unders have been a hot betting trend of late. Just 44.44% of Bundesliga games during Round 19 saw over 2.5 goals. Will I continue to ride that tendency? Find out with my Bundesliga Matchday 20 Picks below!

Bundesliga Matchday 20 Picks – RB Leipzig vs Union Berlin Prediction

Bundesliga Matchday 20 picks begin with RB Leipzig hosting Union Berlin at RedBull Arena on Sunday. You can view the latest moneyline odds for the match below:

  • RB Leipzig (-250)
  • Draw (+400)
  • Union Berlin (+640)

Leipzig played out a seven-goal thriller in their previous outing, but succumbed to a 5-2 defeat away to high-flying Stuttgart. Marco Rose’s side haven’t been in the best of form of late, and have lost their last three successive Bundesliga matches. Nevertheless, they remain just four points behind Borussia Dortmund in fourth-place.

The visitors’ distress has somewhat curtailed since the departure of former head coach Urs Fischer. Union Berlin have lost two of their last six under Nenad Bjelica’s control which has allowed them to no longer carry the tag of basement-dwellers. They managed to pick up a 1-0 win at home to Darmstadt in their last match.

Goals have been few and far between for Union of late, and their games average just one goal per game over their last four in the league. We can see this game resulting in less than three goals.

Best Bet: RB Leipzig vs Union Berlin U3 Goals (-126)

Bundesliga Matchday 20 Picks – FC Köln vs Frankfurt Prediction

Timo Schultz’s FC Köln play host to sixth-placed Frankfurt on Saturday in Bundesliga play from RheinEnergie Stadion. Check out the latest moneyline prices for the second of my Bundesliga Matchday 20 picks here:

  • FC Köln (+226)
  • Draw (+247)
  • Frankfurt (+120)

The home side are having an extremely poor season so far, and sit down in 16th-place, picking up just two wins on the whole season. Köln are on a run of six games without a victory, and have scored just two goals over their past five outings. However, a 1-1 draw away to Wolfsburg in their last match showed some signs of improvement.

As for Frankfurt, they enter the matchup in decent form having lost just one of their past five in the German top-flight. They recorded a narrow 1-0 win at home to Mainz in their last outing. Nevertheless, the club have struggled on the road of late, and have suffered four defeats over their last six away games.

Alternative Euro Soccer Top League Picks

Bundesliga Matchday 20 Picks are now locked in! Let’s hope that they result in some good profits this week. Betting on Bundesliga totals has been highly profitable this season.

I have also been a fan of betting on Ligue 1 this term. That’s why I’ve got two wagers coming up from France for you this week.

Finally, my Euro soccer picks will conclude with a selection from La Liga. I spoke about La Liga totals in my Euro soccer report earlier this week. The idea is that the information and research there will help me with my picks.

Ligue 1 Matchday 20 Picks – Brest vs Nice Prediction

We’ve got an intriguing matchup atop Ligue 1 on the schedule this Saturday as third-placed Brest welcome second-placed Nice to Stade Francis-Le Ble. Below are the most recent moneyline odds for the game:

  • Brest (+147)
  • Draw (+220)
  • Nice (+200)

It’s been a magnificent half of the season for hosts Brest who currently occupy a spot in the top-four. They finished in 14th-place last term so are certainly going against the odds this time around. Les Pirates are undefeated across their last eight league outings, winning six in the process. They also drew 2-2 away to PSG in their most recent match.

Visitors Nice have undergone a dip in form of late, and have lost three of their last six in Ligue 1, despite going their first 13 league games unbeaten. Francesco Farioli’s men have won just one of their last five on the road so it could be a difficult task here.

Ligue 1 Matchday 20 Picks – Nantes vs Lens Prediction

Searching to snap a three-game streak without a win, Nantes face off against Franck Haise’s Lens at Stade de la Beaujoire this weekend. Be sure to take a look at the latest moneyline odds for the encounter:

  • Nantes (+232)
  • Draw (+237)
  • Lens (+121)

Having lost their last three-straight home matches across all competitions, Nantes will be desperate to get a result when they welcome Lens to Loire-Atlantique. They’re only three points ahead of the drop zone, and have scored just two goals over their last five Ligue 1 matches.

Lens’ resurgence has taken a little bit of a hit of late since they have lost two of their last three in the league. However, both defeats came against strong opposition in Nice and PSG, whilst they returned to winning ways last time out with a 2-0 win away to Toulouse.

La Liga Matchday 23 Picks – Granada vs Las Palmas Prediction

Next up, we head to Spain for La Liga picks. Strugglers Granada welcome Las Palmas to Estadio Nuevo Los Carmenes on Saturday. Here are the latest moneyline odds for the matchup:

  • Granada (+133)
  • Draw (+220)
  • Las Palmas (+225)

Granada finally ended a 15-match streak without a win to begin the new year, defeating ten-man Cadiz 2-0 on their own turf. However, they have lost all three games since then, failing to score a single goal in the process. Both the hosts and Las Palmas are tied-14th in terms of goals scored across La Liga this term.

García Pimienta’s Las Palmas have put in an inspiring performance in La Liga so far this term, currently occupying ninth-place. Despite losing 2-1 at home to leaders Real Madrid midweek, they had recorded back-to-back wins in their two matches prior. That saw them beat both Villarreal and Rayo Vallecano.
