Lightning vs Blue Jackets Recap: Blue Jackets win 8-5
Mason Marchment went off for a hat trick and an assist, powering Columbus past Tampa and snapping the Lightning’s 15-game point streak. Coyle and Fantilli each added a goal and two assists, while seven Blue Jackets notched multi-point games.

Capitals vs Oilers Recap: Oilers win 6-5 (OT)
Edmonton trailed late before Zach Hyman tied it with 32 seconds left, then Connor McDavid ended it 47 seconds into OT. Bouchard had a career night with a hat trick and three assists in his 400th game.

Islanders vs Sabres Recap: Sabres win 5-0
Buffalo blanked the Islanders behind a 26-save shutout from Alex Lyon and two goals from Jason Zucker. It was Lyon’s second shutout this season and Zucker’s second multi-goal outing.
The Sabres have now gone 18-3-1 since Dec. 9. New York was flat offensively and dropped consecutive games for the first time in over a month.
