We’re back with our best NFL DFS Week 6 plays. If you’re new to this weekly article, the goal is to find the best stacks, studs, value plays and bargain bin sleepers for daily fantasy football.

In Week 5, our two stacks missed. We hit on 3/5 studs, 3/5 value plays and 1/2 sleepers. Some of the hits included De’Von Achane (RB3), Adam Thielen (WR3), Darren Waller (TE5), Jaleel McLaughlin (RB6), Kirk Cousins (QB7) and Puka Nacua (WR8). We’ll look to keep hitting on NFL DFS Week 6 plays. Check out last week’s article where I gave my NFL DFS Week 5 plays.

There are 11 games for the main slate at DraftKings and FanDuel this Sunday.

Best Stacks for NFL DFS Week 6

Here are the top two stacks for NFL DFS Week 6 (studs vs. value):

  • Kirk Cousins ($7.1K DK / $8K FD) and Jordan Addison ($5.7K DK / $6.7K FD)

Cousins is averaging 23.2 FPPG on DK (QB2 on main slate) and 20.82 FPPG on FD (QB3 on main slate). He gets the Bears this week. Chicago are allowing 286.0 PYPG (31st). The Bears are allowing 172.60 PYPG and 1.20 TDs per game against WRs. Justin Jefferson is doubtful for this Week 6 matchup.

Addison is coming off his best game (18.4 FPs on DK and 15.4 FPs on FD). Addison had nine targets last week and should see 10+ targets with Jefferson out. Getting 50+ FPs from this stack would be great.

Maybe you don’t play fantasy football, and you’re here looking for picks. Head over to our Week 6 NFL picks page to get in on the action.

  • Gardner Minshew II ($5K DK / $6.5K FD) and Michael Pittman Jr. ($6.3K DK / $6.5K FD)

A Minshew II and Pittman Jr. stack will leave a lot of salary left for studs. Anthony Richardson is on the IR and Minshew II will start at QB. This is a good game to get the passing game going, as Jacksonville are allowing 262.4 PYPG (27th) and 1.6 passing TDs per game (T21) so far this season.

The Jags only allow 81.6 RYPG (5th) and if they’re up, the Colts will need to air it out. Pittman Jr. is going to benefit from the game script and should see 10+ targets. If he finds the end zone, this stack will pay off.

Best DFS Studs for NFL Week 6

Here are the best studs for NFL DFS Week 6 at QB, RB, WR, TE and DST:

  • QB: Matthew Stafford ($6.1K DK / $7.3K FD)

Stafford’s best output was in Week 4 (20.16 FPs on DK / 17.16 FPs on FD). Stafford has thrown for 300+ passing yards in three games this season. WR Cooper Kupp was back last week and looked great. Now the Rams get the Cardinals, who are allowing 251.4 PYPG (26th) and 1.6 passing TDs per game (T21).

Potential Stack: Cooper Kupp ($9K DK / $8.7K FD)

  • RB: Alvin Kamara ($6.8K DK / $7.5K FD)

Kamara has looked great since returning from his suspension. Kamara has averaged 20.1 FPPG (DK) and 16.04 FPPG (FD) in two games. In his first game he hauled in 13 of 14 targets. Last week, Kamara had 22 carries for 80 yards and 1 TD. The Texans are allowing 112.4 RYPG (17th).

  • WR: Ja’Marr Chase ($8.3K DK / $9.3K FD)

Chase exploded last week. He had 15 receptions for 192 yards and 3 TDs (55.2 FPs on DK and 44.7 FPs on FD). The Seahawks are allowing 280.0 PYPG (30th) and 1.3 passing TDs per game (13th). Chase will want the football in his hands and I expect Joe Burrow to continue feeding him in this positive matchup.

  • TE: Dallas Goedert ($4.8K DK / $6.2K FD)

Goedert struggled to begin the season, but he scored 28.7 FPs (DK) and 21.7 FPs (FD) last week. He had nine targets and found the end zone for the first time last week. The Jets have a solid defense, but they’re allowing more FPPG to the TE than any other team and have allowed five TDs to TEs already.

  • DST: San Francisco 49ers ($4K DK / $5K FD)
49ers starstudded D should be NFL DFS Week 6 studs
49ers star-studded D should be NFL DFS Week 6 studs

I love the 49ers against the Browns in NFL DFS Week 6. The SF DST is averaging 8.8 FPPG. They just scored 16.0 FPs against the Cowboys. Now they get the Browns and Deshaun Watson is banged up. If he doesn’t play, Dorian Thompson-Robinson will start. Cleveland allow 4.0 sacks per game (T29).

Best Value Plays for NFL DFS Week 6

Here are the best value plays for NFL DFS Week 6 at QB, RB, WR, TE and DST:

  • QB: Bryce Young ($5.1K DK / $6.6K FD)

Young is really cheap at DK. Young went 25/41 for 247 yards, 3 TDs and 2 INTs last week (20.28 FPs on DK and FD) in a blowout loss. I expect a similar game script against the Dolphins. The Dolphins allow 237.2 PYPG (20th). If Young is forced to throw 40+ times again, I like his chances to go for 20+ FPs.

Potential Stack: Adam Thielen ($5.9K DK / $7.4K FD)

  • RB: D’Andre Swift ($6.1K DK / $7.2K FD)

Excluding Week 1, Swift has been a consistent producer. He’s priced as the RB14 (DK) and RB12 (FD). At this price point, anything around 20 FPs is good value. Swift has been involved in the passing game the last two weeks as well. The Jets are allowing 146.2 RYPG (29th) and will struggle with Swift.

  • WR: Marquise Brown ($5.3K DK / $7K FD)

Brown has scored 16.1+ FPs (DK) and 13.1+ FPs (FD) in each of the last four weeks. Brown has had ten targets in three of those games and he has scored a TD in three of those games as well. Joshua Dobbs will continue throwing it to him. The Rams are allowing 206.8 PYPG (15th) this season.

  • TE: Jonnu Smith ($3.4K DK / $5.1K FD)

Smith is becoming a consistent producer at TE. He hasn’t exploded in any game, but he has scored 8.7+ FPs (DK) and 6.2+ FPs (FD). He has had at least six targets in every game. The Commanders are giving up 238.6 PYPG (21st). Smith scored 15.5 FPs and 11.7 FPs on DK the last two weeks, which is solid and could anchor some NFL DFS Week 6 lineups.

  • DST: New England Patriots ($2.6K DK / $3.6K FD)

The Patriots DST has struggled the last two weeks. After last week’s 34-0 loss to the Saints, I expect both the offense and defense to play better. The Patriots play the Raiders. Las Vegas are allowing 3.0 sacks per game (T21) and Jimmy Garoppolo has thrown seven interceptions in four games.

Bargain Bin Sleepers

Here are the best bargain sleepers for NFL DFS Week 6 (one RB and one WR):

  • RB: Emari Demercado (4.9K DK / $5.9K FD)

Demercado will start for the Cardinals, as James Conner is on the IR. In relief duty last week, he rushed ten times for 45 yards and 1 TD (12.7 FPs on DK and 12.2 FPs on FD). Will he fit in your NFL DFS Week 6 entry? The Rams are allowing 120.6 RYPG (20th). If Demercado can rush for 100+ yards, he’ll hit value even without finding the end zone.

Demercado will be among NFL DFS Week 6 entries
Demercado will be among NFL DFS Week 6 entries
  • WR: Curtis Samuel ($3.7K DK / $6.2K FD)

Samuel is a much better value at DK where he’s only $3.7K. Samuel has scored 18.2 FPs and 18.5 FPs on DK in the last two weeks. Samuel has had 15 targets the last two weeks and is quickly becoming a popular target for Sam Howell. The Falcons only allow 190.8 PYPG (7th), but Samuel is too cheap at DK.

Is this the week that the Washington Commanders offense steps it up? With Eric Bieniemy in at offensive coordinator, the Commanders were supposed to move the ball at will with all the weapons they have. Through 5 weeks of the 2023 NFL season, Washington sits near the bottom third in total yards (1619) and yards per game (323.8).
