Baseball and hockey delivered winning records on substantial volume. MLB picks went 176-124-6 as the postseason started, while hockey finished 200-157-7. Football was closer to even, winning 50.5% of decisions.
This report covers SportsHub picks graded September 28 to October 4, 2026, with records, net results, return on investment and sample sizes shown together.
The week in numbers
- Picks logged: 2,349 from 173 handicappers
- Picks graded: 1,940, including 1,040 wins, 842 losses and 58 pushes
- Win rate excluding pushes: 55.3%
The win rate reflects 1,882 picks with a winning or losing result. Another 409 logged picks had no graded result in the weekly snapshot.
A site-wide win rate does not establish profitability. Payouts and stake sizes affect the financial result, which makes net performance and return on investment more useful alongside each handicapper's record.
Top 10 handicappers of the week
The following rankings are ordered by reported net profit for September 28 to October 4, 2026. ROI measures profit relative to the amount staked. Dollar profit shows the total gain, while ROI shows how large that gain was relative to the stake total.
| # | Handicapper | W-L | Win % | Net ($) | ROI % | Picks |
|---|---|---|---|---|---|---|
| 1 | Sports Hub - FREE PICKS | 17-10 | 63.0% | +$1,400 | 34.4 | 27 |
| 2 | Keylor Santos | 17-7 | 70.8% | +$1,000 | 36.5 | 24 |
| 3 | Frankie the Fan | 14-7 | 66.7% | +$788 | 33.6 | 21 |
| 4 | Randall Dickelman | 42-34 | 55.3% | +$766 | 8.4 | 76 |
| 5 | Freudy Hockey | 15-6 | 71.4% | +$748 | 30.6 | 21 |
| 6 | Tyler Williams | 16-14 | 53.3% | +$714 | 21.4 | 30 |
| 7 | Pro Picks - Andrew | 12-6 | 66.7% | +$613 | 31.1 | 18 |
| 8 | Jhon Walsh | 13-6 | 68.4% | +$557 | 25.6 | 19 |
| 9 | Rubi Chavez | 14-6 | 70.0% | +$521 | 2.1 | 20 |
| 10 | Wise Guy Plays | 7-2 | 77.8% | +$512 | 54.4 | 9 |
Sports Hub - FREE PICKS led by net profit with a 17-10 record and a 34.4% ROI. Keylor Santos finished second in profit and recorded a higher win rate and ROI across 24 picks.
Randall Dickelman made the most picks in the table by far. His +$766 came across 76 selections, compared with 30 or fewer for everyone else. That provides a larger weekly sample, although the number of picks alone does not establish a lasting edge.
Tyler Williams shows why win rate alone can mislead: a 16-14 record accompanied +$714 and a 21.4% ROI. Rubi Chavez finished 14-6, but the reported 2.1% ROI represented a much smaller return relative to the amount staked. A stronger winning percentage does not automatically produce a stronger financial return.
Most of the table worked from 18 to 30 picks, and Wise Guy Plays made nine. The 54.4% ROI was the highest among these 10 entries, but it also came from the smallest sample. The longer-term records on the handicapper leaderboard provide a broader basis for comparison.

Leaders by sport
Sport-level win rates exclude pushes. Logged pick counts can exceed graded records when selections have no recorded result. The five categories below account for 1,339 of the 1,940 graded picks, so they do not represent a complete breakdown of the overall total.
Baseball
- Record: 176-124-6
- Win rate: 58.7%
- Picks: 308 logged, 306 graded
Baseball posted the highest win rate among the three categories with more than 300 graded picks. Frankie the Fan went 10-5 for +$563 and a 32.9% ROI. Felipe Brown finished 6-2 for +$424 and a 37.0% ROI, while Jay Cooper went 6-4 for +$252 and a 23.2% ROI.
Those leaders made eight to 15 picks each. Their results were positive, but the individual samples remain short. Additional postseason selections will provide a better basis for judging whether that performance holds.
Hockey
- Record: 200-157-7
- Win rate: 56.0%
- Picks: 366 logged, 364 graded
Keylor Santos led hockey at 14-4 for +$1,045 and a 50.8% ROI. Freudy Hockey went 15-6 for +$748 and a 30.6% ROI, and Randall Dickelman finished 16-11 for +$461 and a 13.9% ROI.
Each of those leaders made at least 18 picks, giving hockey larger individual leader samples than baseball or football in this report. Santos' hockey profit also exceeded his overall weekly profit, meaning his results outside hockey reduced the combined return.
Football
- Record: 272-267-15
- Win rate: 50.5%
- Picks: 561 logged, 554 graded
Football produced the largest graded sample among the five categories shown, but finished only five wins ahead of losses. The sport-wide record alone does not show whether the selections were profitable.
The leaders posted stronger results: Sports Hub - FREE PICKS went 6-2 for +$1,162 and a 60.0% ROI, Sports Central went 9-1 for +$796 and a 72.4% ROI, and Jhon Walsh went 10-2 for +$784 and a 60.5% ROI.
Each of those leaders made 12 or fewer picks. These totals combine NFL and college football, so they should not be presented as NFL-only performance.
Basketball
- Record: 26-15
- Win rate: 63.4%
- Picks: 44 logged, 41 graded
Basketball had the highest win rate of the five categories shown, but the smallest graded sample. Sports Hub - FREE PICKS went 7-5 for +$209 and a 15.9% ROI. The other basketball leaders each made a single pick, too few for a meaningful comparison.
The 63.4% figure describes a positive week across 41 decisions. It does not provide the same depth of evidence as the larger baseball, hockey or football samples.
Soccer
- Record: 39-31-4
- Win rate: 55.7%
- Picks: 75 logged, 74 graded
Tyler Williams led soccer by net profit despite an 8-11 record, finishing +$232 with an 11.1% ROI. That result reinforces the distinction between winning percentage and financial performance: a losing record can still accompany a positive return when payouts and stake weighting support it.
Sports Central went 2-0 for +$200. Both selections won, but two picks are not enough to establish a trend.

What to watch this week
- MLB Division Series. Baseball combined a 58.7% win rate with 306 graded picks. ALDS Game 2s are scheduled for October 5, with NLDS Game 3s on October 6. The MLB picks page provides the current selections for comparison with the next weekly results.
- NFL Week 5. Football's overall performance was close to even, while its leading handicappers posted strong results on short samples. The next set of NFL picks will add evidence, although those results need to be evaluated separately from college football.
- Hockey. Keylor Santos, Freudy Hockey and Randall Dickelman each produced positive returns across at least 18 picks. The next reporting window will show whether those gains continue as the samples grow.
The clearest result was Sports Hub - FREE PICKS leading the overall profit rankings, while baseball and hockey delivered winning records at meaningful volume. The more useful longer-term comparison will be whether profit and ROI remain positive across larger samples. This report complements the matchup analysis and previews in the sports betting blog by measuring the results after selections are graded.
