Dana White has been hyping up the card for months, but is this the best UFC card in history? I think the star power for UFC 100 and UFC 200 was better, but this is among the best UFC fight cards.

Jim Miller fought at UFC 100 and UFC 200, and now he’s scheduled to fight at UFC 300 also.

Two title fights headline UFC 300 on Saturday, April 13th 2024 in Las Vegas. Alex Pereira will be fighting Jamahal Hill in the main event and Zhang Weili will be fighting Yan Xiaonan in the co-main event.

We have lots of UFC 300 predictions to discuss, but first, we’ll preview the event.

UFC 300 Preview

When: Saturday, April 13th 2024

Where: T-Mobile Arena in Las Vegas, Nevada

Time: 6:00 PM ET (Early Prelims) / 8:00 PM ET (Prelims) / 10:00 PM ET (Main Card)

Watch: UFC Fight Pass / ESPN / ESPN+ / Pay-Per-View

There are two champions and 18 ranked fighters on the card. There are 13 fights scheduled for the card. Let’s hope all of the fighters make weight on Friday and there are no cancellations.

Some of the top-ranked fighters competing at UFC 300 include Justin Gaethje, Max Holloway, Holly Holm, Charles Oliveria, Arman Tsarukyan, Jiri Prochazka, Aljamain Sterling, and Jessica Andrade.

Bo Nickal is the biggest favorite on the card, and he’ll get his shot to shine on the PPV main card.

A lot of the fights are toss-ups, but we have identified the best UFC 300 predictions.

Expert UFC 300 Predictions

You can find all of my UFC 300 predictions under my profile (SWJ Sports).

I have UFC 300 predictions for every fight on the card. This is going to be one of the best UFC cards in a long time. There isn’t a fight I’m not excited about. Let’s start analyzing the best UFC 300 predictions.

UFC 300 Predictions
Intensity Unleashed: Two fighters locked in a pivotal moment of combat during UFC 300, embodying the spirit of the ultimate fight.

Alex Pereira vs. Jamahal Hill Predictions

  • Fight Odds: Pereira (-130) vs. Hill (+100)

Pereira (9-2) is 6-1 in the UFC, with the lone loss coming against Israel Adesanya. Hill (12-1-0-1) lost to Paul Craig (R1 TKO) in 2021, but he has gone 4-0 since, with three of those wins coming by TKO/KO.

Hill has power (7 TKO/KO wins), and Pereira doesn’t have a great striking defense (50%). Pereira also hits like a truck (7 TKO/KO wins), and he has shown the ability to absorb strikes. Hill is the more active striker (7.31 SLpM vs. 5.00 SLpM), but Pereira is the more accurate striker (62% vs. 54%).

Both guys can end this fight with a single strike. Sign up to Sports Hub to view my UFC 300 predictions.

Zhang Weili vs. Yan Xiaonan Predictions

  • Fight Odds: Weili (-495) vs. Xiaonan (+345)

Weili (24-3) lost her MMA debut but has since gone 24-2, with both losses against Rose Namajunas. She has won three consecutive fights. Xiaonan (18-3) is 8-2 in the UFC and on a two-fight win streak.

Xiaonan knocked out Andrade in the first round in her last fight. She has eight TKO/KO wins. Weili needs to be cautious of Xiaonan’s power, and she should utilize her grappling. Weili averages 2.29 takedowns (TDs) per 15 minutes, and Xiaonan has 70% takedown defense (TDD). Weili averages 5.94 SLpM and 3.44 SApM, while Xiaonan averages 5.55 SLpM and 3.56 SApM.

I like Weili to win, but my best bet isn’t on the ML. Join Sports Hub to view my UFC 300 predictions.

Justin Gaethje vs. Max Holloway Predictions

  • Fight Odds: Gaethje (-165) vs. Holloway (+135)

Gaethje (25-4) and Holloway (25-7) will be fighting at lightweight. Holloway is 5-3 in his last eight fights, but all three losses were against Volkanovski. Gaethje is coming off a KO win against Poirier.

Holloway has been stopped once, and that was way back in 2012 against Poirier (submission). This will be a striking battle. Gaethje averages 7.35 SLpM and 7.50 SApM. Holloway averages 7.17 SLpM and 4.75 SApM. Gaethje eats a ton of shots, but he hasn’t been knocked out since 2018 against Poirier.

Who will win the BMF title? This is a five-round fight and I give Holloway the edge if the fight progresses into the later rounds, as his cardio is insane, but he’ll need to avoid Gaethje’s power.

One of the underdogs I’m targeting for my UFC 300 predictions is Holloway.

Best Bet: Max Holloway ML (+135)

Charles Oliveira vs. Arman Tsarukyan Predictions

  • Fight Odds: Oliveira (+180) vs. Tsarukyan (-220)

I’m high on Tsarukyan (21-3), but the odds for this fight were surprising. Oliveira (34-9-0-1) is 12-1 since 2018, with the lone loss coming against Islam Makhachev. His last four wins have been by stoppage.

Tsarukyan has knocked out his last two opponents and has nine TKO/KO wins. He’s an excellent wrestler, but he’ll need to watch out for submissions, as Oliveira has 21 submission wins. Oliveira averages 3.54 SLpM, 3.19 SApM and 2.32 TDs per 15 minutes. Tsarukyan averages 3.85 SLpM, 1.91 SApM and 3.40 TDs per 15 minutes. Tsarukyan has never been tapped and he rarely absorbs big strikes.

Bo Nickal vs. Cody Brundage Predictions

  • Fight Odds: Nickal (-2045) vs. Brundage (+1045)

They couldn’t get a better opponent for Nickal (5-0)? Brundage (10-5) is going to get crushed. There’s no point betting on Nickal to win on the money line, but we can analyze the alternate markets.

Nickal has two first-round wins in the UFC. Brundage has been stopped in three of his five losses. Nickal is averaging 11.04 TDs per 15 minutes, which is insane. Nickal also has a 4” reach advantage. Will Nickal win by TKO/KO or submission? Sign up to Sports Hub to access all of my UFC 300 predictions.

Best Bet: LOGIN TO ACCESS PICKS

Jiri Prochazka vs. Aleksandar Rakic Predictions

  • Fight Odds: Prochazka (-105) vs. Rakic (-125)

Prochazka (29-4-1) lost his lone fight last year to Pereira (R2 TKO). Rakic (14-3) hasn’t fought since his loss against Blachowicz in May 2022, where he injured his knee. Will he have cage rust?

Neither fighter targets takedowns often. Prochazka has a 2” reach advantage. He averages 5.31 SLpM and 5.17 SApM, while Rakic averages 4.01 SLpM and 2.30 SApM. Rakic has solid, striking defense.

Prochazka has a ton of power (25 TKO/KO wins), but Rakic has only been knocked out once (injury). This is one of the toughest fights to call, but I’m going with Prochazka for my UFC 300 predictions.

Best Bet: Jiri Prochazka ML (-105)

Calvin Kattar vs. Aljamain Sterling Predictions

  • Fight Odds: Kattar (+135) vs. Sterling (-165)

Kattar (23-7) is 1-3 in his last four UFC fights, and he suffered a knee injury in his last fight against Allen back in October 2022. Sterling (23-4) lost to O’Malley last time out, which snapped a nine-fight win streak.

Sterling averages 4.73 SLpM, 2.41 SApM, and 1.97 TDs per 15 minutes. Kattar averages 5.12 SLpM and 7.10 SApM. Kattar’s striking defense isn’t great, but he has 91% TDD. This fight is likely going to go the distance. Sterling needs to attempt to score points on TDs if he wants to get back in the win column.

Holly Holm vs. Kayla Harrison Predictions

  • Fight Odds: Holm (+320) vs. Harrison (-440)

Harrison (16-1) will be making her UFC debut. Holm (15-6-0-1) is 3-1-0-1 since 2020. She’s 42 years old and still fighting some of the top women in MMA. At this point of her career, Holm is capable of stealing some decision wins, but she hasn’t stopped anyone since Correia back in 2017.

Harrison has 12 stoppage wins, with most coming in the PFL. Holm has gone the distance in eight of her last eleven fights. I’m tempted to bet Holm at these odds, but I’m not confident she’ll find a way to win. I have identified a better play for my UFC 300 predictions, which you can access on my profile.

Best Bet: LOGIN TO ACCESS PICKS

Sodiq Yusuff vs. Diego Lopes Predictions

  • Fight Odds: Yusuff (+110) vs. Lopes (-140)

Lopes (23-6) lost his UFC debut by decision against Evloev, but he has bounced back with wins against Tucker (submission) and Sabatini (KO). Yusuff (13-3) is 6-2 in the UFC. He’s coming off a decision loss against Barboza. Yusuff has only been stopped once (KO), and Lopes has been knocked out twice.

Yusuff averages 5.72 SLpM and 4.33 SApM, while Lopes averages 2.47 SLpM and 4.91 SApM. Lopes has weak striking defense, but Yusuff doesn’t have a ton of power. Lopes has looked like a top 5 fighter in his last two first-round wins, but this is his toughest test. I’m betting on Lopes for my UFC 300 predictions.

Best Bet: Diego Lopes ML (-140)

Jalin Turner vs. Renato Moicano Predictions

  • Fight Odds: Turner (-235) vs. Moicano (+190)

Turner (14-7) is coming off an impressive first-round KO win against Green. Moicano (18-5-1) has won two consecutive fights. He defeated Dober in February. Turner has a massive 5” reach advantage.

Turner averages 6.02 SLpM and 4.63 SApM. He has weak striking defense despite his long reach. His TDD will be tested as well, as Moicano averages 4.41 SLpM, 3.80 SApM and 1.80 TDs per 15 minutes. Turner has won all of his fights by stoppage (10 TKO/KO wins). Moicano has been KOed three times.

Jessica Andrade vs. Marina Rodriguez Predictions

  • Fight Odds: Andrade (-135) vs. Rodriguez (+105)

Andrade (25-12) snapped a three-fight losing streak by defeating Dern (R2 TKO) last November. She fought five times last year but went just 2-3. Rodriguez (17-3-2) is just 1-2 in her last three fights.

Rodriguez has seven TKO/KO wins, and Andrade has been knocked out five times. One area where Andrade has an edge is grappling. She averages 2.45 TDs per 15 minutes, and Rodriguez has 66% TDD. Andrade averages 6.67 SLpM and 5.36 SApM. Rodriguez averages 4.77 SLpM and 2.89 SApM.

WMMA is always tough to predict, but I have identified a great play for my UFC 300 predictions.

Best Bet: LOGIN TO ACCESS PICKS

Bobby Green vs. Jim Miller Predictions

  • Fight Odds: Green (-180) vs. Miller (+150)

Green (31-15-1-1) and Miller (37-17-0-1) are two UFC veterans. Miller won at UFC 100 and UFC 200, can he win at UFC 300? Miller has low striking volume (2.96 SLpM) and he averages 3.18 SApM. Green went 2-1-0-1 last year. Miller has stopped his last two opponents, including Benitez in January.

Green averages 6.14 SLpM and 3.74 SApM. Both guys average over a takedown every 15 minutes. Miller has gone the distance once in his last six fights and Green hasn’t gone the distance in his last six fights. Both of these guys could win. I’m betting on the fight not going the distance for my UFC 300 predictions.

Best Bet: Fight Not to Go the Distance (-115)

Deiveson Figueiredo vs. Cody Garbrandt Predictions

  • Fight Odds: Figueiredo (-310) vs. Garbrandt (+240)

Figueiredo (22-3-1) has struggled against Brandon Moreno in his career, but that’s about it. He’s coming off a decision win against Font. Garbrandt (14-5) is 3-5 in his last eight, but he has won two in a row.

Garbrandt (11 TKO/KO wins) still has power to finish opponents. He averages 3.06 SLpM and 3.91 SApM in his career. Figueiredo averages 3.08 SLpM and 3.46 SApM. Both guys are capable of landing TDs as well. This will be a war. Sign-up to Sports Hub to get my UFC 300 predictions for the opening fight.
