Nitto ATP Tour Finals predictions are on the SportsHub tennis menu this week. The 2023 ATP Tour may be drawing to a close, but there are still lots of exciting betting opportunities to take advantage of.

The season-ending championship is undoubtedly the most significant event on the men’s tennis calendar after the four majors, with the top eight singles players and the top eight doubles teams battling it out for supremacy.

Can the great Novak Djokovic win a record-extending seventh ATP Finals crown? Will Alexander Zverev add to his 2018 and 2021 titles? Or could we see a new name on the trophy this year? Read on to discover my 2023 Nitto ATP Finals predictions.

2023 Nitto ATP Finals Preview & Odds

The 2023 Nitto ATP Finals will be held at the Pala Alpitour in Turin, Italy. Between November 12 and November 19, the sport’s top players will compete on indoor hard courts in the season-ending event.

This is the 54th edition of the tournament, making it one of the oldest events on the calendar. Novak Djokovic and Roger Federer have each won the singles title on six occasions, with the former claiming four successive titles between 2012 and 2015.

Before we dive into my Nitto ATP Finals predictions, let’s take a look at the outright odds. Since the bookies only have outright odds for the singles event, I will be focusing solely on that side of the tournament.

Nitto ATP Finals Outright Odds (Singles)

  • Novak Djokovic (+120)
  • Jannik Sinner (+300)
  • Daniil Medvedev (+333)
  • Alexander Zverev (+700)
  • Carlos Alcaraz (+900)
  • Holger Rune (+2500)
  • Andrey Rublev (+4000)
  • Stefanos Tsitsipas (+5000)

Unsurprisingly, Djokovic is the favorite to win the 2023 Nitto ATP Finals. The relentless 36-year-old heads into the tournament as the world #1, having won three of the four Grand Slam titles this year.

Jannik Sinner and Daniil Medvedev are viewed as the biggest threats to Djokovic’s crown. Both players typically perform well on hard courts, putting them ahead of Alexander Zverev and Carlos Alcaraz in the eyes of the bookies.

As you can see, Holger Rune, Andrey Rublev and Stefanos Tsitsipas are the underdogs. They are all in the top eight for a reason, of course, but they are not expected to challenge the frontrunners in Turin.

2023 Nitto ATP Finals Predictions and Picks

Due to the unique format of the tournament, the ATP Finals matches come thick and fast. The players are separated into two groups of four, and they each play three round-robin matches. After that, the semifinals and the final determine the champion.

There are two matches scheduled for Tuesday, November 14. However, my Nitto ATP Finals predictions concern all three matches taking place on Wednesday, November 15.

Without further ado, here are my Nitto ATP Finals predictions for Wednesday’s matches. Let’s start with my Djokovic vs. Tsitsipas prediction and work our way through the rest.

Novak Djokovic vs. Stefanos Tsitsipas Prediction

Odds: Novak Djokovic (-334); Stefanos Tsitsipas (+250)

Djokovic kicked off his 2023 ATP Finals campaign with a narrow victory over Rune on Sunday. Both players won a set via a tiebreak, but Djokovic managed to pull through and win the final set 6-3.

Meanwhile, Tsitsipas suffered a 6-4, 6-4 defeat to Sinner in his opening match. It is also worth remembering that Tsitsipas has endured multiple high-profile losses against Djokovic over the years, including a straight-set defeat in this year’s Australian Open final.

Ultimately, Djokovic is priced at -334 for a reason. The 24-time Grand Slam champion may not present amazing value here, but I can’t see him losing against Tsitsipas on Wednesday.

Best Bet: Novak Djokovic (-334)

Carlos Alcaraz vs. Andrey Rublev Prediction

Odds: Carlos Alcaraz (-200); Andrey Rublev (+160)

It’s safe to say that 2023 has been an unforgettable year for Alcaraz. Thanks largely to his victory over Djokovic in the Wimbledon final, the 20-year-old Spaniard has established himself as one of the sport’s leading lights.

On the flip side, Rublev has struggled to make an impact on major events this year. Having failed to make it past the quarterfinals in any of the Grand Slam tournaments, the Russian is not expected to trouble the top players in Turin.

That said, Rublev can take confidence from the fact that Alcaraz lost against Zverev in his opening match. The world #2 is favored to taste victory on Wednesday, but the world #5 is more than capable of upsetting the odds.

Daniil Medvedev vs. Alexander Zverev Prediction

Odds: Daniil Medvedev (-223); Alexander Zverev (+175)

The last of my 2023 Nitto ATP Finals predictions concerns the match between Medvedev and Zverev. Medvedev is the third favorite to win the tournament, while Zverev is the fourth favorite.

After reaching the Wimbledon semifinals, Medvedev reached his fifth Grand Slam final at the US Open back in September. Although the Russian fell to Djokovic in New York, he will be confident of going all the way in Turin.

As for Zverev, he has enjoyed one semifinal appearance and one quarterfinal appearance in major tournaments this year. The German has not been at his best in 2023, but he will fancy his chances of causing an upset here.
