Drake Batherson scored the decisive shootout goal as the Ottawa Senators erased three deficits to top the Calgary Flames 4-3 on Thursday.
Lars Eller, Artem Zub, and Jake Sanderson each found the net for Ottawa, which has won four of its past five games. Linus Ullmark stopped 27 shots in regulation and overtime, then one of two shootout attempts to secure the win.
Nazem Kadri, Matt Coronato, and Yegor Sharangovich scored for the Flames, who continue to slide with just two wins in their last 12 outings (2-8-2). Devin Cooley turned aside 35 shots, including seven in overtime.

Zegras Shines as Flyers Down Predators
Trevor Zegras recorded two goals and an assist, tying his career high for points in a game, to power the Philadelphia Flyers past the Nashville Predators 4-1.
Matvei Michkov dished out two assists, and Jamie Drysdale and Travis Konecny also scored for Philadelphia, which improved to 5-1-0 over its last six contests. Dan Vladar stopped 32 of 33 shots.
Matthew Wood scored his first NHL goal for Nashville, which dropped its third straight.

Cirelli’s OT Winner Lifts Lightning
Anthony Cirelli scored on a breakaway 2:36 into overtime, sealing a 2-1 win for the Tampa Bay Lightning against the Dallas Stars.
Brandon Hagel added a goal and an assist, helping Tampa Bay secure its fourth straight victory. The Stars, who saw their three-game winning streak end, got a goal from Adam Erne, while Jake Oettinger made 30 saves.

Darnell Nurse scored twice and Matt Savoie added his first career goal for Edmonton.
Hurricanes Dominate Islanders
Bradly Nadeau scored his first NHL goal as part of a three-goal first-period burst, helping the Carolina Hurricanes roll past the New York Islanders 6-2.
Jordan Martinook, Mike Reilly, Jackson Blake, Andrei Svechnikov, and Logan Stankoven also tallied for Carolina, which snapped a two-game skid.
Mathew Barzal was scratched for the Islanders after missing morning skate, and David Rittich made 27 saves in the loss.

Jets Power Past Blackhawks
Kyle Connor, Mark Scheifele, and Gabriel Vilardi each posted three-point nights as the Winnipeg Jets beat the Chicago Blackhawks 6-3.
Former Chicago captain Jonathan Toews assisted on Josh Morrissey’s goal in his first meeting against his old team, marking an emotional return.
Chicago’s Teuvo Teravainen, Alex Vlasic, and Andre Burakovsky scored, but the Blackhawks’ defensive struggles continued.
Penguins Roll Over Wild
Ryan Shea and Bryan Rust had a goal and an assist apiece as the Pittsburgh Penguins beat the Minnesota Wild 4-1 for their eighth straight game with a point.
Tristan Jarry made 26 saves as Pittsburgh improved to 6-0-2 in that span. Kirill Kaprizov scored the lone goal for Minnesota.
Canucks Outlast Blues in Shootout
Kiefer Sherwood netted a hat trick and Jake Debrusk delivered the shootout winner to give the Vancouver Canucks a 4-3 victory over the St. Louis Blues.
Kevin Lankinen made 36 saves for Vancouver, which improved to 2-0 in shootouts this season.
