2026 NFL International Games Odds, Predictions, Schedule and Best Bets

The 2026 NFL International Games schedule is the league’s largest yet. Nine regular-season games will be played across four continents, seven countries and eight stadiums, with Melbourne, Rio de Janeiro and Paris hosting NFL regular-season football for the first time.

That expansion creates a bigger betting board, but not necessarily more bets. International travel matters only when it changes preparation, quarterback comfort, protection, communication or player availability. A long flight by itself is not enough reason to back an underdog or automatically play an under.

The best early position is Baltimore -2.5 against Dallas. Pittsburgh -2.5 against New Orleans is a smaller, more conditional play. Most of the remaining games belong on the watch list until regular-season performance and injury information make the numbers more reliable. Readers tracking the complete league board can use the NFL betting hub alongside these early projections.

The NFL’s official schedule confirms the dates and venues, including Jacksonville’s consecutive London games and San Francisco’s appearances in both Melbourne and Mexico City.

The Week 1 through Week 5 prices come from current FanDuel and BetUS postings. The Week 6 disagreement is genuine: one source lists Jacksonville -1.5 and another has Houston -1.5. Pittsburgh is presently -2.5 against New Orleans. Current Week 9 through Week 11 postings make Cincinnati, Detroit and San Francisco the respective favorites.

The table’s main message is selectivity. Baltimore is the only favorite combining a manageable spread, an established quarterback advantage and a number still below the key field-goal margin. Pittsburgh and Detroit have credible football cases, but each carries enough personnel or matchup uncertainty to justify a smaller position or a wait.

How International Games Change the Handicap

Travel should modify the projection, not create it

International travel can affect sleep, practice schedules, recovery and communication. It should therefore widen the range of possible outcomes, especially in Melbourne, where the body-clock adjustment is substantially different from a normal domestic road trip.

It should not replace football analysis. Quarterback play, pass protection, defensive personnel and coaching preparation still determine whether a team can execute. The practical approach is to establish the normal neutral-field rating first, then adjust only when confirmed travel plans or preparation differences deserve it. The NFL betting guide provides additional context on spreads, totals and price discipline.

Jacksonville’s second London game is different from its first

Jacksonville plays Philadelphia at Tottenham in Week 5 and remains in London to face Houston at Wembley seven days later. That removes a second transatlantic trip for the Jaguars, but it does not automatically create an advantage. The result and physical cost of the Eagles game will matter more than Jacksonville’s general familiarity with London.

The current Houston–Jacksonville disagreement also shows why this market should not be forced. When credible boards cannot agree on the favorite, the better move is to wait for Week 5 performance, injuries and a clearer consensus.

Later international games require more patience

A Week 1 price is built mostly from preseason ratings. By Week 10 or Week 11, sportsbooks will have months of current evidence. That makes early numbers on Patriots–Lions and Vikings–49ers potentially attractive, but it also creates considerably more uncertainty about who will be healthy and how the teams will have developed.

Use early lines as reference points. Once the season begins, compare those numbers with current efficiency, quarterback performance and protection data available through the NFL statistics page.

Game-by-Game NFL International Predictions

San Francisco 49ers vs. Los Angeles Rams

Los Angeles is the expected winner, but Rams -3.5 is no longer an attractive early entry. The market opened closer to Rams -2.5 before moving through the key number of three, with current FanDuel pricing showing Los Angeles -3.5.

These teams know each other’s personnel and coaching tendencies, which limits the informational advantage created by an unusual venue. The Rams can win without covering a number that now requires more than a field goal.

Prediction: Rams 27, 49ers 24.
Betting position: Pass at Rams -3.5. A return to -2.5 would reopen the discussion.

Baltimore Ravens vs. Dallas Cowboys: The best early spread

Start with the quarterbacks. Lamar Jackson and Dak Prescott give both teams a credible offensive floor, but Baltimore’s ability to create an additional rushing gap with Jackson makes its offense harder to prepare for on a neutral field. Dallas is also incorporating a revamped defense, while Baltimore begins its first season under Jesse Minter. Both teams will have two regular-season games of film before meeting in Rio.

The total of 51.5 already reflects substantial offensive expectations. The cleaner position is Baltimore below the key number rather than trying to predict whether a high total can survive normal red-zone and turnover variance.

Prediction: Ravens 30, Cowboys 27.
Best bet: Ravens -2.5. Playable through -3; pass at -3.5.

Indianapolis Colts vs. Washington Commanders

Washington is the early projected winner, but this is not ready to bet. Jayden Daniels is returning from an injury-disrupted 2025 season, while Daniel Jones’ recovery timetable following an Achilles tear was still uncertain when the schedule was announced.

Those questions affect more than quarterback rankings. They change designed-run volume, protection rules, third-down play calling and how aggressively either defense can pressure. Washington -1.5 is reasonable under a healthy-Daniels assumption, but the wager should wait for confirmation rather than treating that assumption as settled.

Prediction: Commanders 24, Colts 20.
Betting position: Monitor. Washington would become interesting at -2 or shorter with favorable quarterback and line news.

Philadelphia Eagles vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Philadelphia is a slight favorite, but Jacksonville enters 2026 after a 13-win season and will be playing in its familiar London environment. The Eagles, meanwhile, are trying to restore an offense that did not meet expectations during their championship defense.

That creates a matchup with credible cases on both sides. Philadelphia may still possess the stronger line-of-scrimmage ceiling, but laying points before seeing either team’s first month provides little margin.

Prediction: Eagles 24, Jaguars 23.
Betting position: Pass. Philadelphia at pick’em or Jacksonville at +3 would be more useful than the current -1.5/+1.5 range.

Houston Texans vs. Jacksonville Jaguars

Jacksonville receives the narrow expected-outcome edge because it avoids another transatlantic trip and remains in London after playing Philadelphia. Houston, however, has divisional familiarity and has been competitive with Jacksonville; the teams split their 2025 series before both reached the postseason.

The betting value cannot be defined while one board makes Houston the favorite and another favors Jacksonville. Taking either side now would mean betting a team opinion without first resolving the price.

Prediction: Jaguars 21, Texans 20.
Betting position: Wait. Reassess after Jacksonville’s Week 5 injury report and performance against Philadelphia.

Pittsburgh Steelers vs. New Orleans Saints

Aaron Rodgers has signed a one-year deal to return to Pittsburgh and reunites with Mike McCarthy for Rodgers’ final NFL season. New Orleans is preparing for Tyler Shough’s second year as its starter.

The neutral venue removes the normal New Orleans home advantage, while the spread asks Pittsburgh to win by only a field goal. Rodgers’ age, Pittsburgh’s coaching transition and the unknown state of the offensive line prevent this from matching the Baltimore recommendation, but -2.5 is still the correct side of the key number.

Prediction: Steelers 23, Saints 20.
Betting position: Lean Steelers -2.5. Pass if the market reaches -3.

Cincinnati Bengals vs. Atlanta Falcons

Cincinnati offers the more stable passing structure with Joe Burrow, Ja’Marr Chase and Tee Higgins. Atlanta is installing Kevin Stefanski’s offense while evaluating its quarterback options, with Michael Penix and Tua Tagovailoa identified as competitors entering the summer.

That makes Cincinnati the logical winner. It does not automatically make the Bengals a strong wager. On a neutral field, -4.5 requires Cincinnati to create margin rather than merely control the game. Atlanta’s rushing offense can shorten possessions and keep that margin contained.

Prediction: Bengals 27, Falcons 24.
Betting position: Pass on Cincinnati -4.5. Atlanta becomes a possible underdog lean only with settled quarterback and offensive-line conditions.

New England Patriots vs. Detroit Lions

New England reached the previous Super Bowl behind Drake Maye’s rapid development and a top-five defense. Detroit missed the playoffs but still brings an offense with the personnel to challenge that defensive structure.

Detroit’s ability to protect Jared Goff will decide the matchup. Clean pockets allow the Lions to use play action and attack the middle of the field; interior pressure would let New England control the passing rhythm. Lions -1.5 is a defensible early lean, not a priority bet months before kickoff.

Prediction: Lions 27, Patriots 24.
Betting position: Lean Detroit -1.5, playable only through -2.5 after confirming offensive-line health. Pass at -3.

Minnesota Vikings vs. San Francisco 49ers

San Francisco is the expected winner, but the 49ers will be making their second international appearance of the season. Minnesota enters camp with a quarterback competition involving Kyler Murray and J.J. McCarthy.

By Week 11, Minnesota’s quarterback decision, San Francisco’s health and both teams’ protection units will matter more than either preseason rating. Laying more than a field goal now provides no compensation for those unknowns.

Prediction: 49ers 26, Vikings 23.
Betting position: Pass at San Francisco -3.5. The 49ers would become more attractive at -2.5 or better.

Best Bets for the 2026 NFL International Games

Baltimore Ravens -2.5 vs. Dallas Cowboys

Baltimore -2.5 is the strongest current position because the spread remains below three and the Ravens’ quarterback-driven rushing structure can travel without depending entirely on timing or crowd communication.

Dallas can keep the game close through Prescott and its passing offense, which is why the recommendation stops at -3. This is not a bet to chase after the market crosses the key number.

Pittsburgh Steelers -2.5 vs. New Orleans Saints

Pittsburgh’s case starts with the veteran quarterback and the absence of a normal Saints home-field advantage. A spread below three leaves room for a close Steelers victory.

The position is more fragile than Baltimore because Rodgers’ health, Pittsburgh’s offensive-line continuity and a new coaching structure must survive the first six weeks.

Detroit Lions -1.5 vs. New England Patriots

Detroit has the offensive personnel to make New England defend every part of the field, but the Patriots’ defense and quarterback ceiling make this a high-quality matchup rather than an obvious bet.

A healthy Detroit offense at -1.5 would be playable. The number becomes too thin at -3, particularly against a New England team capable of winning outright.

Final Verdict on the 2026 International Board

The Baltimore recommendation has the clearest combination of quarterback advantage, neutral-field fit and favorable spread location. Pittsburgh’s edge is more dependent on health and protection, while Detroit remains an early lean rather than a full recommendation.

The principal uncertainty is time. Seven of these games take place in October or November, leaving ample opportunity for quarterback changes, offensive-line injuries and market correction. A good matchup still needs a playable number. Before placing any game-week wager, compare these preseason ranges with the latest NFL picks and predictions.
