MLB Odds Back on the Board – Daily Report – July 14

MLB odds are finally back. You can go to your sportsbook and see a full slate of MLB games on the schedule. Ahhh!

After suffering through the worst stretch of the sports year, baseball is back. That means Sports Hub handicappers will be back too. It was a slow day for our crew yesterday as many guys decided to take the day off to sip a cold one on the beach. At least that’s what I would have done!

Yesterdays Leaderboard – MLB Odds Are Back

Now, yesterday…well, it was the slowest day yet on the leaderboard. There were absolutely no MLB odds to be found. Only nine cappers put in at least one pick. What’s great is…six of them were winners!

Let’s see who did what.

  • Repeat: Remember yesterday? Well, I never forget. The soccer expert, Geovanny Araya is back leading the board hitting on two soccer picks to win $330. That gives him four wins in his last five picks, all soccer! For the month, Geovanny is now up $1248.
  • Sports Hub cappers: Five more cappers went 1-0 led by Sports Hub exclusive handicappers Kyle Parker and Robert Jones. Kyle hit the CFL game last night and Robert won on a women’s semifinal at Wimbledon. The win puts Robert up $851 for the last 30 days.
  • Computer picks: If you’re new to Sports Hub, our computer picks are unique in the industry. They are only released when there is a two-point difference between the actual betting line and the computer-generated line. Last night, a pick was released on the CFL point spread. The pick was a winner. Our computer picks are up $1622 over the last 30 days and have been winning at a professional level rate over the last four years.
  • Note: Our computer picks nailed its last MLB pick. At MLB odds of -178, the computer correctly picked the Cardinals to beat the White Sox last week.

Trending in the Sports World

I will always bring you what is trending in the sports world. Any successful bettor will tell you that knowledge is power. The more you know, the better equipped you will be to make betting decisions. That’s part of what I’m all about, helping bettors have more success.

Now, it was a really slow day on the sports schedule yesterday without any games to bring MLB odds, but there is still plenty happening.

Let’s take a look.

  • Cleaning House: Just days after firing its head football coach Pat Fitzgerald, Northwestern fired its baseball coach, Jim Foster. There’s only so many men’s sports left. Are they going to fire all their coaches?
  • Quarterback: If you haven’t checked it out yet, Netflix dropped a series called Quarterback. It features an in-depth look at Patrick Mahomes, Kirk Cousins, and Marcus Mariota during the 2022 season. You’ll get a glimpse at what it’s like being an NFL QB.
  • Moussa Diaby: Unless you follow international soccer, you probably don’t know Diaby. You might want to get to know him. He’s being sought after by a number of soccer clubs. When it’s all said and done he’ll likely sign for somewhere around 50 million pounds. That’s roughly $65.6 million!
  • Baseball’s second half: MLB odds are available as the second half of the season begins tonight and anything can happen. Remember when the Reds didn’t have Elly de la Cruz? Yeah, they called him up, went on a tear, and now lead the NL Central. It was just a year ago that the Phillies were eight games below .500 in June and wound up playing for a World Series. Anything can happen!

Finally! MLB Odds Are Back

The Home Run Derby was great with Vladimir Guerrero Jr. getting the win on Monday night. The MLB All-Star game provided fans a Tuesday night of great baseball with Elias Diaz’s two-run homer in the eighth inning giving the National League its first win since 2012.

Then, Wednesday and Thursday hit us. No MLB odds to be found anywhere. It was like when you haven’t been to the grocery store in a few weeks and all that’s left in your pantry is a saltine cracker and a jar of olives. What do you do?

True sports fans had to dig deep into the sports schedule to find international soccer, tennis, and more. Not anymore! Baseball is back, MLB odds are here, and today’s schedule is actually quite full for a Friday in July.

Top Action on Today’s Schedule

Let’s check out today’s schedule.

  1. MLB: Yes, baseball is back. All 30 teams are in action. San Diego and Philadelphia kick it off at 6:05 p.m. ET and out west, Detroit at Seattle will conclude Friday’s full slate of MLB games.
  2. PLL: If you’re not familiar, that stands for the Professional Lacrosse League. If you haven’t seen this sport, check it out. It’s fast and super exciting. And, oh yeah, you can bet on it. There are two games tonight and two more on Saturday.
  3. All-Star weekend: Fans can watch WNBA players take part in the league’s three-point shooting contest and skills challenge as part of the league’s All-Star weekend festivities.
  4. More CFL: Edmonton lost again at home last night and fans can catch another game tonight – Toronto at Montreal. The Argonauts (3-0) are unbeaten and lead the East Division. Montreal (2-2) is currently second. Scott, our CFL expert, has picks and analysis for every CFL game.
  5. Men’s semifinals: The top three seeds at Wimbledon will be in action today in an attempt to make it to the finals. No. 1 seed Carlos Alcaraz takes on No. 3 Danilo Medvedev while second-seeded Novak Djokovic faces No. 8 Jannick Sinner.

And there you have it. A solid day with baseball back on the schedule. That will put our handicappers back in action sorting through all of the MLB odds. Come back tomorrow and see how they did. Until then…
