We’ve rounded up the best NFL DFS Week 8 plays at every position and price point. We’ve identified the best stacks, studs, value plays and bargain bin sleepers to target for NFL DFS Week 8.

We hit on quite a few Week 7 plays. The four QBs we recommend all finished in the top nine in scoring at the position. We hit on the top two QBs on the slate (Lamar Jackson and Patrick Mahomes). We also hit on the Bears DST (#1), Travis Kelce (#1 TE). We didn’t do as well at RB and WR, but we recommended Saquon Barkley (#5 RB), Jerome Ford (#7 RB) and George Pickens (#7 WR).

There are 13 games to target on the main slate for NFL DFS Week 8.

Best Stacks for NFL DFS Week 8

Here are the top two NFL DFS Week 8 stacks to target:

  • Jalen Hurts ($8.2K DK / $9.2K FD) and A.J. Brown ($8K DK / $8.7K FD)

Excluding Week 1, Hurts has scored 20+ FPPG every week on DK and FD. He’s a bit banged up (knee), but it hasn’t slowed him down. Hurts is averaging 260.1 PYPG and 39.1 RYPG. He has thrown eight TDs and rushed for six TDs. Hurts has had a rushing touchdown in each of his last three games.

Brown has been on fire as well. Brown is averaging 23.7 FPPG (DK) and 17.8 FPPG (FD). He has had 127+ receiving yards in each of his last five games and he has averaged 11.8 targets in those games. The Commanders allow 248.4 PYPG (28th) and 2.0 passing TDs per game (T29).

In Week 4, Hurts scored 27.16 FPs on DK (24.16 FPs on FD) against the Commanders.

  • Kenny Pickett ($4.9K DK / $6.5K FD) and George Pickens ($5.6K DK / $7.4K FD)

A Pickett and Pickens stack will leave lots of salary left to fill in your NFL DFS Week 8 lineup. Pickett had a solid performance in Week 7, as he avoided turnovers, but he also didn’t throw a TD. The Steelers have played some tough defenses to start the season, but the Jaguars allow 273.9 PYPG (31st).

Diontae Johnson returned from injury last week. He had five receptions for 79 yards. He’ll help boost this passing offense. I’m stacking Pickett with Pickens, though. Pickens is a speedster with big play potential. He has had 100+ receiving yards in his last two games. If he finds the end zone, he’ll crush value.

Best Studs for NFL DFS Week 8

Here are the best NFL DFS Week 8 studs at QB, RB, WR, TE and DST:

  • QB: Lamar Jackson ($8.1K DK / $8.8K FD)

Jackson exploded for 37.88 FPs (DK) and 33.88 FPs (FD) in Week 7. I’m going back to the well and will be targeting Jackson on my NFL DFS Week 8 lineups. Jackson has thrown for eight TDs and rushed for five TDs. The Cardinals allow 237.6 PYPG (23rd) and have allowed QBs to rush for three TDs.

Potential Stack: Zay Flowers ($5.6K DK / $6.5K FD)

  • RB: Alvin Kamara ($7.3K DK / $8.3K FD)

Kamara scored 29.3 FPs (DK) and 23.3 FPs (FD) in Week 7. He had 17 carries for 62 yards and hauled in 12 receptions for 91 yards. He has 35 receptions in four games. His ceiling has been limited, as he only has one TD. The Colts are allowing 118.7 RYPG (21st) and 1.7 rushing TDs per game (31st).

  • WR: Tyreek Hill ($9.5K DK / $9.5K FD)

Hill leads the NFL with 902 receiving yards (128.9 receiving yards per game). Hill is averaging 28.4 FPPG (DK) and 22.9 FPPG (FD). In Week 2, the Patriots held Hill to five receptions for 40 yards and 1 TD, but that was in Foxborough. Hill has scored 20+ FPPG in the last three weeks on DK and FD.

Several NFL DFS Week 8 studs at WR have tough matchups, so I’m riding with Hill.

  • TE: Travis Kelce ($8.4K DK / $9K FD)

No TE can match Kelce’s production on DK where he gets one point per reception. Kelce has had nine or more receptions in each of his last three games. He has had a TD in four of six games. He scored 38.9 FPs (DK) and 29.9 FPs (FD) last week. The Broncos allow 257.4 PYPG (30th) and 2.3 passing TDs per game (32nd). Kelce had 24.4 FPs (DK) and 16.9 FPs (FD) in Week 6 against the Broncos.

  • DST: Baltimore Ravens ($4.2K DK / $4.8K FD)

The Ravens are averaging 10.0 FPPG. They’ve scored 11+ FPPG in three of their last four games. The team has had three or more sacks in six of seven games. They have had at least one INT in three of their last four games. Arizona will want to run the football, but the Ravens only allow 95.7 RYPG (9th).

Best Value Plays for NFL DFS Week 8

Here are the best NFL DFS Week 8 value plays at QB, RB, WR, TE and DST:

  • QB: Bryce Young ($5.1K DK / $6.6K FD)

I think Young can explode in NFL DFS Week 8. The Panthers are coming off a bye week. Young has had 200+ PYPG in his last three starts. Young’s issue has been that he has only thrown multiple TDs in one game. The Texans are allowing 245.5 PYPG (26th). This has the potential to become a shootout.

Potential Stack: Adam Thielen ($6.6K DK / $8.2K FD)

  • RB: Breece Hall ($5.9K DK / $7.2K FD)

Hall has started to produce for the Jets and they’re coming off a bye week. Hall has a rushing TD in his last two games. He has also been active in the passing game. The Giants allow 137.3 RYPG (27th) and 1.4 rushing TDs per game (30th). If Hall finds the end zone again in NFL DFS Week 8, he’ll exceed value.

  • WR: Terry McLaurin ($5.3K DK / $7K FD)

McLaurin has had 80+ receiving yards in three of his last four games. He hasn’t been scoring TDs, which has hurt his FPPG. He has just one TD back in Week 2. However, he had his best game of the season in Week 4 against the Eagles (22.6 FPs on DK and 18.6 FPs on FD). The Eagles allow 227.4 PYPG (18th) and 1.7 passing TDs per game (T27). If McLaurin can score 20+ FPs in NFL DFS Week 8, we’ll be happy.

  • TE: Dalton Schultz ($3.9K DK / $5.8K FD)

Schultz has scored double-digit FPs in the Texans last three games. He has scored a TD in each of his last three games as well. Schultz had 10 targets in Week 5 and seven targets in Week 6. Houston are coming off a bye week. Carolina only allow 197.8 PYPG (9th), but they give up 31.0 PPG (T31).

  • DST: Minnesota Vikings ($2.5K DK / $3.7K FD)

The Vikings DST has scored 17+ FPs in two of their last four games. They have scored two defensive TDs during that span. The Vikings have had two INTs in each of their last two games. Jordan Love has thrown at least one interception in his last four games (Love has seven total INTs in his last four games).

Best Bargain Bin Sleepers for NFL DFS Week 8

Here are the best NFL DFS Week 8 bargain bin sleepers (one RB and one WR):

  • RB Cam Akers ($4.8K DK / $5.2K FD)

Akers is starting to get more touches in Minnesota. He had 10 carries for 31 yards and two receptions for 30 yards against a stout 49ers defense last week. The Packers are allowing 143.7 RYPG (30th) and 1.0 rushing TDs per game (T20). If Akers can score a touchdown in NFL DFS Week 8, he’ll exceed value.

  • WR: Kendrick Bourne ($4.7K DK / $6.2K FD)

Bourne has been playing well as of late. He scored 19.3 FPs and 17.3 FPs on DK the last two weeks (14.3 FPs and 13.3 FPs on FD). He has been targeted 18 times and has 16 receptions the last two weeks. The Dolphins are allowing 232.9 PYPG (20th) and 1.4 passing TDs per game (T20).
