Top seed Novak Djokovic outlasted Alejandro Tabilo 7-6 (3), 6-1 in the Round of 16 at the Hellenic Championship in Athens.
The Serbian star, now based in Athens after the ATP 250 tournament relocated from Belgrade, fired 13 aces without committing a double fault and held serve throughout.

  • No. 6 seed Nuno Borges rallied to beat Eliot Spizzirri 5-7, 6-3, 6-4.
  • Sebastian Korda defeated Damir Dzumhur 4-6, 6-3, 6-3.
  • In other results, Marcos Giron beat Pedro Martinez 6-4, 6-1; Yannick Hanfmann defeated Ivan Ivanov 6-4, 6-2; and Tomas Martin Etcheverry edged Mackenzie McDonald 6-7 (5), 7-6 (3), 6-3.

Sonego Tops Cobolli in Metz

Lorenzo Sonego edged out fellow Italian and No. 4 seed Flavio Cobolli 2-6, 6-3, 7-5 at the Moselle Open in Metz, France.
Sonego recorded eight aces and no double faults, securing the break in the 11th game of the decider.
He’s joined in the quarterfinals by No. 7 seed Cameron Norrie (beat Arthur Cazaux 6-7 (1), 7-6 (7), 6-2) and other winners such as Daniel Altmaier, Aleksandar Vukic, and Alexander Blockx, along with lucky loser Kyrian Jacquet.
