Week 7 NFL Picks

Things get going with a bang for Week 7 NFL picks! The Caesars Superdome will be rocking for Thursday Night Football from the Big Easy when the Saints host the Jaguars. There are five division matchups on the schedule, highlighted by the Kansas City Chiefs hosting the Los Angeles Chargers.

The City of Brotherly Love is the host of Sunday Night Football when the Dolphins travel to play the Eagles. This matchup will see two teams with some of the best win percentages in 2023 do battle. It’s also the 1st professional game where Jalen Hurts and Tua Tagovailoa go head-to-head.

Football fans may remember when Tua replaced Hurts in the 2018 National Championship game. Tagovailoa led a dramatic overtime comeback in Alabama’s victory over Georgia.

MNF features an NFC battle when the Minnesota Vikings host the San Francisco Giants. Week 7 NFL picks will be limited by three games, with six teams on a bye. Six games kick off NFL Sunday in the early window, with four games featured in the late afternoon. Our SportsHub exclusive handicappers have been building bankrolls all season. Best Pick ATS

Starting with finding a game to bet against the spread is always a good strategy when making Week 7 NFL picks. Your best opportunity will come in Chicago as the banged-up Chicago Bears are hosting the Las Vegas Raiders.

Chicago is not expected to have quarterback Justin Fields in this game, and the Bears weren’t even able to win games with him on the field. Las Vegas is hanging around in the AFC West Division race, and the Raiders will win this game by at least three points and cover the spread in Week 7.

  • Las Vegas Raiders -3.0

Best Moneyline Pick

The 5-1 Detroit Lions travel to Baltimore to take on the 4-2 Ravens in what should be one of the best games of the day. Detroit has been explosive on offense all season long, but they are now facing a Ravens team that can defend.

Baltimore will struggle to win this game on offense, though, and their secondary will end up giving up some big plays to the Lions. This game has upset written all over it as the Lions move to 6-1 by going on the road and beating the Ravens.

Detroit Lions +125

Best Total Pick

NFC East rivals meet up in New York when the Giants are set to host the Washington Commanders. There are a number of different ways to bet on this game, but looking at the total number of points is the best option.

Washington is rushing for just 87 yards per game this season, and New York is a team that wants to win games by slowing the action down. Twenty points will be good enough to win this game, and that means that taking the under 40 points is one of the best Week 7 NFL picks to make.

Washington Commanders/New York Giants Under 40.0

Best Player Prop

The Miami Dolphins visit the Philadelphia Phillies in a massive showdown of 5-1 teams on Sunday Night Football. Both teams love throwing the ball down the field in this game, and everyone will pay attention to the offenses.

This is also a game where you can find some excellent player prop betting options, especially when picking a player to reach the end zone. Tyreek Hill will be the best player to back as the dynamic wide receiver looks like the MVP through six weeks.

Tyreek Hill Anytime TD Scorer

Best Team Prop

AFC West rivals meet in Kansas City when the 2-3 Los Angeles Chargers visit the Chiefs. It’s been a disappointing start for Los Angeles this year, but they have played the Chiefs pretty tough in recent years.

While that might be the case, the Chiefs are off to a 5-1 start, and they aren’t be messing around in this game. Kansas City is going to jump out to a big lead, and then they are going to finish it off at the end of regulation as well.

Kansas City Chiefs Halftime/Fulltime Winner

Cleveland Browns vs. Indianapolis Colts

It was announced that the Indianapolis Colts would be without starting quarterback Anthony Richardson for the rest of the season. Indianapolis is now expected to struggle in a big way, and they are hosting a great defensive team in this game.

The Browns just knocked off the San Francisco 49ers, and they got that done without their starting quarterback. Cleveland is a slim two-point betting favorite in this game, but taking them on the money line at -120 is a better wager to make in this game.

Cleveland Browns -120

Buffalo Bills vs. New England Patriots

The 4-2 Buffalo Bills visit the 1-5 New England Patriots on Sunday, a battle between two franchises heading in opposite directions. Buffalo didn’t look sharp in Week 6, but this is a matchup in which they have dominated the Patriots in recent years.

New England has a mess on both sides of the football, and this game could get out of hand in a hurry. Things will go from bad to worse for the Patriots as they will get blown out to fall to 1-6 on the year.

Buffalo Bills -8.5

Atlanta Falcons vs. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

The NFC South is wide open this season, and the Atlanta Falcons and Tampa Bay Buccaneers are also in the mix. These teams meet up in Tampa on Sunday, and the Buccaneers are slim 2.5-point favorites over their rivals.

The Falcons feel like they are still a year or two away from really being a great team, and they will struggle in this matchup. The way to go is to take the Buccaneers to win this game and cover the favorite.

Arizona Cardinals vs. Seattle Seahawks

NFC West rivals meet up on Sunday when the Arizona Cardinals visit the Seattle Seahawks. This game has a massive point spread, but you will want to focus on the total number of points instead.

Arizona comes into this game having gone just 1-5 through six games, and that offense is going to move the ball in this one. Seattle hasn’t been a tremendous offensive team yet this season either, and taking the under is the right play in this matchup.

Under 44.5 Points

Green Bay Packers vs. Denver Broncos

The 2-3 Green Bay Packers visit the 1-5 Denver Broncos in a game of two very disappointing teams this season. It’s hard to know what to make of these teams when it comes to betting against the spread, but there is a player prop to focus on.

Packers quarterback Jordan Love has thrown six interceptions this season, but he has also thrown eight touchdown passes. Denver has been a mess on the defensive side of the football, and Love will find some success through the air in this game.

Jordan Love Over 1.5 TD Passes

Identify Roster Deficiencies & Hammer Weak Betting Lines

Injuries have shaken up a few teams, creating more holes than they have talent. Sharp bettors know where to locate these deficiencies and find weak betting lines. Can you spot where they are in Week 7 NFL odds?

Despite a very slow start, the New York Giants are a 2.5-point home favorite when they host division rival Washington Commanders. Through 5 weeks, the Giants scored only 62 points, second only to the Pats 55. With a total set of around 42, our NFC East expert has a beat on this one.

The longest spread for week 7 is currently from an NFC West battle when the Seahawks host the Cardinals. Seattle is a 7 to 7.5-point favorite, depending on which book you use. Other opening odds include:

  • Jaguars @ Saints (PK)
  • Lions @ Ravens (-2.5)
  • Bills (-8.5) @ Patriots
  • Steelers @ Rams (-5)
  • Chargers @ Chiefs -6
  • Dolphins @ Eagles -2.5
  • 49ers @ Vikings 49ers -7
