The Premier League is back! With November’s international break in the books, it’s time to start thinking about your EPL Matchweek 13 predictions.

We have some mouthwatering clashes to sink our teeth into this weekend, including Manchester City vs. Liverpool, Newcastle United vs. Chelsea and Tottenham Hotspur vs. Aston Villa.

With the top five teams separated by just three points, the jam-packed festive period will be tasty. Read on to discover my Matchweek 13 predictions and picks.

Premier League Matchweek 12 Review

It feels like the last Premier League action happened a long time ago, doesn’t it? Before we dive into my Matchweek 13 predictions, we need to relive the previous round of fixtures.

MATCHWEEK 12 PREMIER LEAGUE RESULTS

  • Wolverhampton Wanderers 2-1 Tottenham Hotspur
  • Manchester United 1-0 Luton Town
  • Arsenal 3-1 Burnley
  • Crystal Palace 2-3 Everton
  • Bournemouth 2-0 Newcastle United
  • Aston Villa 3-1 Fulham
  • Brighton & Hove Albion 1-1 Sheffield United
  • West Ham United 3-2 Nottingham Forest
  • Liverpool 3-0 Brentford
  • Chelsea 4-4 Manchester City

It’s safe to say that Matchweek 12 did not disappoint in terms of drama. Wolves and West Ham came from behind to defeat Spurs and Forest, respectively, while Bournemouth stunned Newcastle.

However, Matchweek 12 saved the best for last. The final clash of the round saw Chelsea and Man City play out a crazy 4-4 draw at Stamford Bridge, with Cole Palmer scoring a 95th-minute penalty against his former club.

Matchweek 13 Premier League Odds

It’s almost time for me to reveal my Matchweek 13 predictions and picks. Before we go any further, though, let’s check out the latest Premier League odds to find the best possible value for this weekend.

PREMIER LEAGUE ODDS FOR MATCHWEEK 13

  • Manchester City (-143) vs. Liverpool (+333)
  • Burnley (+250) vs. West Ham United (+100)
  • Luton Town (+240) vs. Crystal Palace (+110)
  • Newcastle United (+150) vs. Chelsea (+170)
  • Nottingham Forest (+200) vs. Brighton & Hove Albion (+120)
  • Sheffield United (+220) vs. Bournemouth (+115)
  • Brentford (+333) vs. Arsenal (-134)
  • Tottenham Hotspur (+130) vs. Aston Villa (+170)
  • Everton (+170) vs. Manchester United (+140)
  • Fulham (+130) vs. Wolverhampton Wanderers (+200)

As you can see, Man City is favored to beat Liverpool in Saturday’s early kick-off. Newcastle, Tottenham and Fulham are the only other home favorites, meaning six teams are expected to win on the road this weekend.

Arsenal is the only away team with minus odds, joining West Ham, Crystal Palace, Brighton, Bournemouth and Manchester United as the away favorites. That means there is plenty of betting value on offer.

Premier League Matchweek 13 Predictions

With seven Saturday games, two Sunday showdowns and one Monday clash on the Matchweek 13 schedule, there is no shortage of Premier League betting opportunities to take advantage of in the coming days.

My Matchweek 13 predictions concern a couple of Saturday’s clashes – Burnley vs. West Ham United and Newcastle United vs. Chelsea – in addition to Sunday’s showdown between Spurs and Villa.

Can Burnley pick up their first home point of the season? Will Chelsea continue their revival at St. James’ Park? And what will happen when Ange Postecoglou takes on Unai Emery? Here are my Matchweek 13 predictions.

Burnley vs. West Ham United Prediction

Burnley has failed to pick up a single point at Turf Moor since returning to the Premier League. The Clarets have lost all six of their home league games this season, conceding a whopping 18 goals in the process (three goals per game).

After conceding three against Man City and Aston Villa, Vincent Kompany’s men shipped five goals against Tottenham before conceding four against Chelsea.

As for the Hammers, they have scored over 1.5 goals in seven of their 12 league games this term, with five goals coming in their previous two outings. With that in mind, I’m backing West Ham to score at least two goals on Saturday.

Best Bet: West Ham United Over 1.5 Goals (-117)

Newcastle United vs. Chelsea Prediction

Newcastle and Chelsea are separated by four points in the Premier League table, with the Magpies leading the Blues. Across the past five games, both sides have recorded two wins, two draws and one defeat.

Following a tricky start to the season, Chelsea has steadied the ship in recent weeks. Mauricio Pochettino’s men have lost just one of their last eight matches across all competitions, picking up positive results against Man City, Arsenal and Spurs.

That said, Newcastle always rises to the challenge at St. James’ Park. Having won five of their six home league games this season – scoring 13 goals along the way – Eddie Howe’s men will back themselves to halt Chelsea’s hot streak.

Tottenham Hotspur vs. Aston Villa Prediction

Tottenham kicked off the Premier League campaign with a 10-game unbeaten run, securing eight wins and two draws. Since then, however, Spurs have suffered back-to-back defeats, conceding six goals in the process.

Thanks to a run of six victories in eight league games, fifth-placed Aston Villa sits just one point behind fourth-placed Tottenham. Plus, the Villains have scored over 2.5 goals in seven of their 12 matches this term.

With key players like James Maddison, Micky van de Ven, Ivan Perisic, Destiny Udogie, Cristian Romero and Yves Bissouma on the sidelines, Ange Postecoglou will have to field a weakened team on Sunday. Still, Spurs will be confident of frustrating Villa.
