From the opening ceremonies in Mexico, Canada, and the United States to the first-ever World Cup Final halftime show, the 2026 tournament will bring music, culture, and stadium spectacle across North America.
Opening Ceremonies
The 2026 World Cup will open with major ceremonies across all three host nations. Mexico City starts the tournament on June 11 with a culture-driven celebration featuring artists such as Alejandro Fernández, Belinda, J Balvin, Lila Downs, Los Ángeles Azules, Maná, Tyla, Shakira, and Burna Boy. Toronto and Los Angeles will follow on June 12 with their own host-nation ceremonies.
Final Halftime Show
HalftimeThe 2026 Final at New York/New Jersey Stadium will feature the first-ever FIFA World Cup Final Halftime Show, headlined by Madonna, Shakira, and BTS.
USA Opening Show
Opening ShowLos Angeles will host the U.S. opening ceremony with Katy Perry, Future, Anitta, LISA, Rema, and Tyla bringing a global pop spectacle to the tournament.
Canada Opening Show
