European Soccer Weekly Report – Bettors Should Look To La Liga Unders

At the start of the season, La Liga and the Bundesliga were good European soccer leagues to target when it came to Overs. However, in recent weeks, I have suggested that bettors should target La Liga Unders and Bundesliga Unders

During the latest round of fixtures, we have seen just 30% of La Liga matches hit the over. Week 16 also saw just 30% of matches have over 2.5 goals, whilst the week prior had just 20% of games see over 2.5 goals. Clearly, the latest betting trends are indicating that La Liga Unders are happening on a regular basis.

It is important that you analyze each individual team and matchup before making your picks. Even though La Liga Unders are trending and are more common of late, some teams are more susceptible to Unders than others. Take a look at my La Liga Unders analysis below for a more in-depth look at which teams to target.

Euro Soccer Betting Trends – La Liga Unders Analysis

Having identified La Liga Unders as a clear betting trend over the past few weeks, we are ready to dive into the deeper analysis that will help facilitate our Euro soccer bets.

Here are some key statistics to consider when it comes to La Liga Unders:

  • Las Palmas and Mallorca have the highest under 2.5 goal percentage in the division (76%)
  • Real Betis, Alaves and Cadiz have also seen a high proportion of their matches hit under 2.5 goals (71%)
  • Celta Vigo and Rayo Vallecano have had just 35% of their matches see over 2.5 goals this season
  • Mallorca have the highest under 2.5 goal percentage when it comes to home games (87%)
  • Celta Vigo and Osasuna have had just 22% of their total home matches see over 2.5 goals
  • Las Palmas, Real Betis, Alaves, Valencia and Getafe all regularly see games on their own turf have under 2.5 goals (75%)
  • Las Palmas, Cadiz and Rayo Vallecano have had 78% of their away games see under 2.5 goals
  • Athletic Bilbao’s away outings have resulted in over 2.5 goals just 25% of the time

The highlighted teams are the ones that you should look out for when it comes to targeting La Liga Unders. They are regularly seeing their matches have under 2.5 goals and so you should find some good value by looking at their games.

Euro Soccer Betting Trends – Ligue 1 Unders Trend Again

I love betting on Unders when it comes to soccer totals. Backing the under usually fades the public as they typically favor the over. That means we can find better value. My weekly soccer reports have found that Unders are in fact more common for certain leagues.

Ligue 1 is a league that has seen the under land on a regular basis throughout the season. Just 33.33% of all games from the French top-flight last weekend saw over 2.5 goals. Despite Week 15 seeing that percentage increase to 66.67%, that seems to have been a one-off and the overall trend for totals in Ligue 1 this season is to back the under.

Teams such as Lille and Nice have seen the under land very regularly this term. Just 19% of their total league matches have had over 2.5 goals. This decreases to 13% for their home matches, whilst Clermont have had just 25% of their home games see over 2.5 goals.

In terms of road games, Rennes have witnessed only 14% of their outings result in over 2.5 goals. Meanwhile, Lille and Nice also see a lot of their away matches hit the under (25%).
