Bills Mafia Makes Offer You Can’t Refuse – November 13

The Bills mafia will be out in droves tonight at Highmark Stadium in Buffalo. The Bills will host the Denver Broncos, winners of their last two. Game time weather shows 43 degrees and cloudy in Buffalo, perfect weather for the Bills mafia to make life tough for Russell Wilson and the rest of the Broncos. It’s the perfect end to Week 10 in the NFL, which also marks the end of this season’s Frankfurt games.

Looks like a beautiful night for football in Buffalo!

It’s a huge advantage for Buffalo to play at home where the Bills mafia hails. The Bills mafia has played a big role in Buffalo winning at home over the past several seasons. The Bills are 4-1 at home this season 24-6 at home since 2019. Buffalo is a 7.5-point favorite heading into tonight’s game. Will the Bills mafia play a role in Buffalo covering the spread for the first time in six games?

The Birth of the Bills Mafia

It was 13 years ago when the Buffalo Bills played the Pittsburgh Steelers in a 2010 regular season game. Bills WR Stevie Johnson dropped what would have been a 40-yard touchdown pass from QB Ryan Fitzpatrick in overtime. The Steelers would go on to win 19-16.

Johnson was broken emotionally and dealt with it in his own way – via Twitter. What is now known as the “God” tweet, became so famous it was even mentioned on The View. ESPN’s Adam Schefter also took a crack at it and retweeted it. That marked the very beginning of the Bills mafia.

An Adam Schefter tweet helped start the Bills mafia

When Schefter retweeted Johnson, Bills fans pounced on the ESPN personality. They were relentless making fun of Schefter by posting old historical events with the hashtag #SchefterBreakingNews. That produced a few of these gems by the not-yet-named Bills mafia:

  • Washington crosses Delaware #SchefterBreakingNews
  • Man discovers fire #SchefterBreakingNews

Schefter then proceeded to block a large number of these Bills fans who took on the title of OG, or original gangsters. The following spring, the #TeamBillsMafia hashtag was born. It was the birth of the Bills mafia, which has been going strong ever since.

The Latest Sports Hub Expert to Crush It

Yet another Sports Hub expert topped yesterday’s leaderboard. He’s a relatively new one and he went 4-0 to cap off a brilliant week. Four more Sports Hub guys went 3-0 and finished in yesterday’s top-10. It was a strong day on the leaderboard again with all of the top-50 ending up winners. The top-47 all won at least $100.

So who was on top yesterday?

New guy crushed it yesterday!
  • Jacob Hoffman: Another new guy, another Sports Hub expert, another dominant performance. Yesterday, Jacob went 4-0 and earned $400. That capped of a 13-2 seven-day run that earned $884. Jacob is now up $1457 for the last 30 days. He ranks No. 3 on the 30-day leaderboard behind Mario Deluca and Nick Sabatini, who yes, both are Sports Hub exclusive handicappers.
  • Coop & Scott: Jay Cooper from our friends at Ultimate Capper went 5-1 yesterday to earn $380. Scott’s Picks, which has been having one heckuva 30-day run, put in 12 picks yesterday. He went 8-4 and won $350. Adding that to his total for the month and Scott’s Picks has won $3242!
  • The Four Horsemen: Ben Miller, Robert Jones, Diego Garcia, and William Taylor have some things in common. They are all Sports Hub experts. They have all been a daily leader at least once and they all have proven success as handicappers. All four also went 3-0 and won $300 yesterday.
  • Worth noting: Logan Wilson, another Sports Hub guy, went 4-1 and won $290 yesterday to finish in the top-10. Logan is No. 1 on the 7-day leaderboard with $1064 earned over the last week. Two more Sports Hub experts – Neal Harris and Randall Dickelman – went 2-0, won $200, and rounded out yesterday’s Top 10.  Want to win more bets? It’s pretty simple. Lots to Talk About in the Sports World

We’ve got college football coaches getting canned and millions of dollars being won. There were some great performances yesterday in the NFL, though none by the Bills mafia. They won’t be in action until tonight.

If you want trending sports, we’ve got it right here.

  • $5.5 million parlay: One lucky bettor won $5.5 million on a Houston Texans parlay. The Texans kicked a field goal on the game’s last play to beat the Bengals 30-27. That gave the bettor the win. The parlay was made up of the Texans moneyline, Over 44.5, Devin Singletary to score a TD, and Singletary Over 51.5 rushing yards. He had 150 yards rushing to go with his touchdown.
  • Maxey drops 50: A day after his teammate Kelly Oubre was hit by a car, Tyrese Maxey went off. Maxey went 20-for-32 from the floor and finished with a new career-high 50 points. He also had 7 rebounds, 5 assists, and 3 blocks.
  • Jimbo gets the axe: Texas A&M hired Jimbo Fisher to lead them to the SEC promised land. It didn’t happen. After going 26-10 in his first three seasons, Fisher went 19-15 since and was let go yesterday. One of the reasons he wasn’t fired earlier was his buyout, which is the balance of his contract – about $76 million!
  • Josh Dobbs: Playing football isn’t rocket science for Dobbs, who actually is a rocket scientist. Yesterday, he led the Vikings to a second straight victory by passing for 312 yards and two touchdowns. Minnesota beat New Orleans 27-19 to move to 6-4 overall.
  • Primetime Unders: Raiders rookie QB Aidan O’Connell hit rookie TE Michael Mayer with a 7-yard TD pass early in the fourth quarter. It was last night’s first and only touchdown in the Raiders-Jets game. It ended 16-12 in favor of the Raiders and, as many primetime games have done this year, went Under the total. That makes it 24-7 for the Under in NFL primetime games so far this season.

Bills Mafia Prepares for Tonight’s Game

Get yourself ready to go for tonight’s with Sports Hub in your back pocket. We lay everything out in our Week 10 Monday Night Football picks page. We break down the matchup and then give you Sports Hub’s best picks for the game. When you’re done checking that out, you can head on over the members’ area where our expert cappers will have tons of picks for the game (there are almost two dozen already).

What will the Bills mafia do tonight? They are a crazy bunch and will show up tonight to support their Bills as they face the Broncos. The Monday night football game is not the only sporting event on the calendar for today though. There’s a lot more out there, which means the betting opportunities are many.

Here’s what’s on the schedule today.

  1. NBA: There are only four games on tap in the NBA. There is an NBATV doubleheader featuring the Knicks and Celtics in the first game and the Cavaliers and Kings in the late game.
  2. NHL: Like the NBA, it’s a light schedule in the NHL. There are only two games. The Islanders are in Edmonton tonight. The Oilers (3-9-1) have been a disappointment thus far and just fired their head coach. In the other game, it’s Colorado (8-5-0) playing at Seattle. The Avalanche is second in the Central Division. Colorado is still among the favorites to win this year’s Stanley Cup.
  3. Monday Night Football: The Bills mafia will be in full effect tonight as Buffalo hosts Denver. The Bills desperately need a win. They have lost two of their last three and three of their last five. The good thing is their last two wins were at home with the Bills mafia on hand.
  1. College basketball: There is one heckuva Monday night doubleheader on FS1 tonight. To start it off, Michigan is at Madison Square Garden to take on Rick Pitino’s St. John’s club. In the nightcap, Xavier is at No. 3 Purdue. Those two games are part of a pretty good size Monday schedule. Check the members’ area for CBB picks. Logan Wilson (12-3) and Bill Blatt (9-3) are off to hot starts with their college basketball picks.
  2. Soccer: The FIFA U-17 World Cup is taking place in Indonesia. Other than that, it’s a pretty light day in world soccer.
  3. New tennis tournaments continue: On the ATP Tour, the men begin competition in the Nitto ATP Finals in Italy. The women will begin the LP Open by IND, which is taking place in Chile.

Yes, the Bills mafia are on the schedule tonight looking to bring their hometown favorites another victory. Remember, visit our MNF page and the picks database before the game. Get on the Sports Hub money train and ride it until tomorrow when we do this all over again. See you then!
