James van Riemsdyk also scored his first for Detroit, while Dylan Larkin added a goal and Cam Talbot stopped 38 shots. Calle Jarnkrok and Matthew Knies scored for Toronto.

Ridly Greig scored for Ottawa, which managed just one goal for the third straight outing. Linus Ullmark stopped 22 shots.
