A massive Thursday slate delivered statement wins, heavy scoring swings and milestone performances across multiple arenas. Veteran stars took over several matchups, while a wave of rookies and depth scorers shaped the rest of the board. Goaltending battles ran tight in New Jersey and Detroit, while high-event games broke open in Montreal, Denver and Washington. Shot volume, late equalizers and special-teams swings drove the night, with bettors tracking pace and momentum through Odds & Scores as teams pushed further into the season’s first quarter.
