Pacers 103, Bulls 101

Pascal Siakam hit a 14-foot jumper at the buzzer and finished with 24 points and nine rebounds as the Indiana Pacers edged the Chicago Bulls 103-101 in Indianapolis.

Tre Jones tied the game on a driving layup with 7.5 seconds left before Siakam rose over two defenders for the winner, giving the Pacers back-to-back victories for the first time this season. Bennedict Mathurin added 19 points for Indiana, which has now won four of its first 20 games. Isaiah Jackson, Jay Huff and Andrew Nembhard each chipped in 14 points, as the Pacers’ balanced attack and late-game execution tracked perfectly with the kind of late-possession edges highlighted in Sportshub’s guide to NBA betting strategies.

Jones and Josh Giddey led Chicago with 17 points apiece. Nikola Vucevic tallied 16 points, eight rebounds and six assists, while Kevin Huerter and Ayo Dosunmu each scored 15. Giddey added 11 boards and seven assists for the Bulls, who have dropped three straight and four of their last five.

Mavericks 114, Clippers 110

Klay Thompson turned back the clock with six 3-pointers en route to a season-high 23 points, Cooper Flagg poured in a career-best 35, and Dallas held off host Los Angeles.

Resting Anthony Davis on the second night of a back-to-back, the Mavericks trailed 103-101 after a John Collins 3-pointer with 2:22 to go. Thompson, playing in his hometown, capped a 17-point fourth quarter with a go-ahead 3-pointer at the 1:52 mark and Dallas never relinquished the lead. It was just Thompson’s second 20-point outing of the season after scoring only 10 in a 129-119 loss to the Lakers the night before, a result that popped on the NBA odds and scores screen.

Flagg’s 35 points were six more than his previous career high and helped offset Davis’ absence.

Timberwolves 119, Celtics 115

Anthony Edwards scored 39 points to offset 41 from Jaylen Brown and Minnesota closed strong to beat Boston in Minneapolis.

Julius Randle added 16 points and nine rebounds for the Timberwolves, who snapped a three-game losing streak. Donte DiVincenzo scored 15 points and went 4-for-7 from deep. Neemias Queta powered the Celtics with a massive double-double of 19 points and 18 rebounds.

Minnesota outscored Boston 60-46 in the second half to rally. After a Queta dunk gave Boston a 71-59 lead with 11:45 to go in the third, the Timberwolves responded with a 24-11 run over the next seven minutes to grab an 83-82 edge. They held on in a back-and-forth fourth quarter, delivering the kind of pace and scoring swings that many bettors target when betting NBA totals.

Hornets 118, Raptors 111 (OT)

Miles Bridges scored 10 of his 35 points in overtime as Charlotte, after a huge fourth-quarter push, stunned visiting Toronto to halt the Raptors’ nine-game winning streak.

Kon Knueppel poured in 20 points, Collin Sexton had 18 and LaMelo Ball added 14 points for the Hornets, who have now won two straight following a seven-game skid. Charlotte trailed by 17 in the first quarter and by as many as 12 in the fourth before storming back, another reminder of how quickly momentum — and NBA betting trends — can flip.

Scottie Barnes led Toronto with 30 points, while Brandon Ingram and Immanuel Quickley each scored 22. The Hornets shot just 10-for-39 from 3-point range but capitalized on 16 Raptors turnovers.

Bucks 116, Nets 99

Giannis Antetokounmpo scored 29 points to lead Milwaukee to a convincing home victory over Brooklyn, snapping the Bucks’ seven-game losing streak.

AJ Green added 15 points on 5-for-7 shooting from beyond the arc, and Bobby Portis chipped in 13 off the bench. Kevin Porter Jr., making his return from meniscus surgery that sidelined him after opening night, also scored 13 as all five Bucks starters reached double figures. Milwaukee finally put together the type of defensive performance and shot profile that aligns with Sportshub’s NBA betting guide.

Brooklyn’s skid reached four games. Reserve Danny Wolf poured in a career-high 22 points, while Jalen Wilson added 13 as the Nets’ bench outscored their starters 63-36. It was the first time this season the Bucks held an opponent under 100 points.

Pistons 138, Heat 135

Cade Cunningham scored 29 points and dished eight assists as Detroit survived a furious Miami rally to win on the road.

Tobias Harris delivered a season-high 26 points for the Pistons, who nearly blew a 22-point fourth-quarter lead but still snapped a two-game slide. Duncan Robinson, facing his former team for the first time, added 18 points, while Paul Reed contributed 13 points and 10 rebounds.

Andrew Wiggins led the Heat with 31 points as their six-game winning streak ended. Norman Powell scored 28 and Tyler Herro had 24, while Bam Adebayo contributed 15 points and 10 rebounds. The high-scoring, up-tempo matchup was a showcase for bettors weighing different basketball betting options, particularly on sides and totals.

Nuggets 130, Suns 112

Nikola Jokic tallied 26 points, 10 assists and nine rebounds, Tim Hardaway Jr. tied a season high with 23 points on seven 3-pointers, and Denver rolled past host Phoenix for its seventh straight road win.

Jamal Murray added 24 points and made five threes as Denver shot a blistering 22-for-38 (57.9 percent) from long range. Jokic narrowly missed his 11th triple-double of the season as the Nuggets bounced back from a home loss to San Antonio that cost them a spot in the NBA Cup quarterfinals.

Dillon Brooks led Phoenix with 27 points, while Devin Booker added 24 and Royce O’Neale had 15. The Suns had won nine of 12 and had already secured an NBA Cup quarterfinal berth despite losing Friday at Oklahoma City.

Warriors 104, Pelicans 96

Jimmy Butler III and Gary Payton II delivered double-doubles in place of injured All-Star Stephen Curry, and Brandin Podziemski sparked a late surge as Golden State outlasted New Orleans in San Francisco.

Facing the prospect of going deeper into a homestand without Curry after losing two of the first three, the Warriors closed with a decisive 12-point flurry to overcome a 12-for-47 (25.5 percent) performance from beyond the arc. The result and lineup shuffle gave handicappers another data point for evaluating Golden State in future basketball picks as rotations and usage shift without Curry.

Zion Williamson led the Pelicans with 25 points and seven rebounds. Yves Missi grabbed 10 boards to go with nine points, while Saddiq Bey scored 21 and Jeremiah Fears added 16. New Orleans has now dropped 11 of its last 12.
