Bills 39, Bengals 34

Christian Benford returned a fourth-quarter interception for a touchdown as Buffalo erased a late 10-point deficit in the snow to beat visiting Cincinnati 39-34 in Orchard Park, N.Y.

Down 28-25 with under six minutes left, Benford came on a blitz, leaped to pick off Joe Burrow’s lob and raced 63 yards for a 32-28 lead. On Burrow’s next throw, AJ Epenesa grabbed another interception, and Josh Allen turned the short field into a fourth-down, 3-yard TD pass to Jackson Hawes to put the Bills firmly in control. It was the kind of high-variance finish that will weigh heavily when lining up your Week 16 NFL picks.

Allen went 22 of 28 for 251 yards and three TDs and added 78 rushing yards on nine carries, including a 40-yard touchdown. Burrow finished 25 of 36 for 284 yards with four TDs but two costly interceptions for the Bengals (4-9). Chase Brown scored twice and Tee Higgins caught six passes for 92 yards and two scores. Buffalo improved to 9-4 with its fifth win in seven games.

Steelers 27, Ravens 22

Aaron Rodgers passed for 284 yards and a touchdown as Pittsburgh took sole possession of the AFC North lead with a 27-22 win over host Baltimore, the Steelers’ ninth victory in the past 11 regular-season meetings between the rivals.

Rodgers, playing with a soft cast to protect his broken left wrist, went 23 of 34 through the air and added a rushing touchdown. Kenneth Gainwell also ran for a score and Jaylen Warren caught a TD pass for the Steelers (7-6).

The Ravens (6-7) dropped their second straight after a five-game winning streak. Isaiah Likely caught a touchdown from Lamar Jackson, who threw for 219 yards, but Likely was also ruled to have dropped what would have been a go-ahead score with 2:43 remaining.

Packers 28, Bears 21

Jordan Love threw three touchdown passes and Keisean Nixon sealed the win with a late interception as Green Bay edged visiting Chicago 28-21, lifting the Packers ahead of the Bears in the NFC North race.

Josh Jacobs carried 20 times for 86 yards, including the go-ahead 2-yard touchdown run with 3:32 remaining for the Packers (9-3-1). Love finished 17 of 25 for 234 yards with one interception, while Christian Watson hauled in four passes for 89 yards and two touchdowns, reinforcing many of the concepts from Sportshub’s piece on NFL betting strategies that will bring profits in 2024, especially around quarterback efficiency and red-zone execution.

Caleb Williams completed 19 of 35 passes for 186 yards and two 1-yard touchdown throws to Kyle Loveland and Olamide Zaccheaus. The Bears (9-4) erased a 14-3 halftime deficit to tie the game 21-21 before stalling late. D’Andre Swift ran for 63 yards and Luther Burden caught four passes for 67 yards.

Rams 45, Cardinals 17

Matthew Stafford threw for 281 yards and three touchdowns as the Los Angeles Rams reclaimed the top spot in the NFC standings with a 45-17 rout of the Arizona Cardinals in Glendale, Ariz.

Puka Nacua torched Arizona’s secondary with seven catches for 167 yards and two scores. Blake Corum added 128 rushing yards and two touchdowns for the Rams (10-3), who ripped off 35 straight points after the game was tied 10-10. Kyren Williams contributed 84 rushing yards and a TD, and Colby Parkinson caught Stafford’s other touchdown pass, giving Los Angeles the type of explosive, balanced profile that factors heavily into NFL Super Bowl futures betting.

Jacoby Brissett completed 25 of 44 passes for 271 yards, two touchdowns and one interception for the Cardinals (3-10), who dropped their fifth straight. Michael Wilson had 11 receptions for 142 yards and two scores, while tight end Trey McBride made five catches to push his season total to 93, the most among NFL tight ends.

Seahawks 37, Falcons 9

Sam Darnold threw for 249 yards and three touchdowns and Jaxon Smith-Njigba caught seven passes for 92 yards and two scores as Seattle routed host Atlanta.

The Seahawks (10-3) broke open a tight game by scoring on the opening kickoff of the second half, a 100-yard return by Rashid Shaheed, and then outscored the Falcons 31-3 after halftime.

Kirk Cousins completed just 15 of 30 passes for 162 yards with two interceptions. Bijan Robinson ran for 86 yards for the Falcons (4-9), who locked in an eighth consecutive losing season.

Titans 31, Browns 29

Cam Ward tossed two touchdown passes and Tony Pollard ran for two scores as Tennessee snapped a seven-game skid with a 31-29 victory at Cleveland.

The Titans (2-11) kept the Browns out of the end zone for most of the second half, only conceding two late touchdowns that were followed by failed two-point conversions to preserve the win. Ward went 14 of 28 for 117 yards with an interception, while Pollard powered the ground game with 161 rushing yards on 25 carries despite Tennessee managing only 292 total yards.

Shedeur Sanders did everything he could to bring Cleveland (3-10) back, throwing for three touchdowns and rushing for another. He completed 23 of 42 passes for 364 yards with one interception. Harold Fannin II caught eight passes for 114 yards.

Vikings 31, Commanders 0

JJ McCarthy threw three touchdown passes as Minnesota became the first team since the 1992 Denver Broncos to follow a shutout loss with a shutout win, blanking visiting Washington 31-0.

Josh Oliver caught two of McCarthy’s scoring throws and T.J. Hockenson snagged the other as the Vikings (5-8) snapped a four-game losing streak and bounced back from a 26-0 defeat to Seattle the previous week.

Commanders quarterback Jayden Daniels was injured while trying to make a tackle after throwing an interception. Isaiah Rodgers blocked him with a hard shove, sending Daniels to the turf on the same left elbow he dislocated earlier in the season, an injury that had caused him to miss the previous three games. Washington (3-10) dropped its eighth straight.

Jaguars 36, Colts 19

Trevor Lawrence threw two touchdown passes and Travis Etienne ran for two scores as Jacksonville dominated visiting Indianapolis in a key AFC South matchup.

Lawrence went 17 of 30 for 244 yards for the Jaguars (9-4), who won their fourth straight to move into sole possession of first place. Etienne carried 20 times for 74 yards to go with his two touchdowns as Jacksonville improved to 11-0 in its last 11 home games against the Colts, the type of divisional dominance often highlighted in Sportshub’s guide to betting NFL futures.

Indianapolis (8-5) lost starting quarterback Daniel Jones to an Achilles injury late in the first quarter. Riley Leonard came on and completed 18 of 29 passes for 145 yards with an interception and a rushing touchdown. The Colts have now lost three straight and four of their last five.

Dolphins 34, Jets 10

Jaylen Wright stepped in for the injured De’Von Achane and rushed for a career-high 107 yards and a touchdown as Miami rolled past New York in East Rutherford, N.J.

The Dolphins (6-7) notched their fourth straight win, jumping to a 21-0 first-quarter lead. Tua Tagovailoa hit Jaylen Waddle for a 3-yard touchdown, Achane added a 13-yard scoring run, and Wright capped the early onslaught with a 2-yard TD. Achane ran seven times for 92 yards before exiting, while Tagovailoa finished 13 of 21 for 127 yards.

The Jets (3-10), eliminated from playoff contention for the 15th consecutive season, got their lone touchdown on a 78-yard punt return by rookie Isaiah Williams. Tyrod Taylor left in the first quarter with a groin injury after going 1 of 4 for 6 yards and an interception, forcing undrafted rookie Brady Cook into his NFL debut. Cook went 14 of 30 for 167 yards but threw two interceptions and took six sacks.

Saints 24, Buccaneers 20

Rookie quarterback Tyler Shough ran for two of New Orleans’ three rushing touchdowns as the visiting Saints edged Tampa Bay 24-20.

Shough threw for just 144 yards but added 55 rushing yards, including two scores. Fellow rookie Devin Neal provided the third touchdown and 70 rushing yards on a wet field as the Saints leaned heavily on the ground game.

Baker Mayfield passed for 122 yards with one touchdown and one interception for the Buccaneers (7-6), who slipped into a tie with idle Carolina for first place in the NFC South.

Broncos 24, Raiders 17

Bo Nix completed 31 of 38 passes and ran for a touchdown as Denver beat host Las Vegas for its 10th straight win.

Nix threw for 212 yards and scored on the ground, while RJ Harvey added 75 rushing yards and a touchdown on 17 carries for the Broncos (11-2), who controlled possession for more than 39 minutes and continued to look like one of the league’s most consistent sides for those following Sportshub’s latest football picks.

Geno Smith completed 13 of 21 passes for 116 yards for the Raiders (2-11) before leaving late in the third quarter with a right shoulder injury. Kenny Pickett relieved him and went 8 of 11 for 97 yards, including a touchdown to Shedrick Jackson. Linebacker Devin White made a career-high 19 tackles, but Las Vegas still dropped its seventh straight.
