Clay Bellinger’s RBI single in the 11th inning lifted the New York Yankees to a 5-3 victory over the Chicago White Sox, extending their winning streak to seven. Aaron Judge and Austin Wells homered as the Yankees kept pressure on the Toronto Blue Jays in the AL East race. Judge’s blast was his 42nd of the year, traveling 429 feet to center. Despite Andrew Benintendi and Chase Meidroth combining for four hits, the White Sox dropped their fifth straight.

Brewers 4, Blue Jays 1

Milwaukee struck late with back-to-back home runs from Jackson Chourio and Christian Yelich in the ninth inning to stun Toronto. Myles Straw went 3-for-4 for the Blue Jays, but Jeff Hoffman (8-6) took the loss after allowing consecutive blasts. The Brewers added insurance when Isaac Collins doubled home a run.

Josh Lowe delivered his first multi-homer game of the year, driving in four runs as Tampa Bay defeated Washington. Ryan Pepiot (10-10) pitched five innings of one-hit ball, striking out six. Nationals starter Jake Irvin (8-10) recovered from a tough first inning but couldn’t match the Rays’ firepower.

Pirates 10, Red Sox 3

Pittsburgh’s offense exploded in the sixth inning, plating five runs to cruise past Boston. Bryan Reynolds, Tommy Pham and Nick Gonzales each had two RBIs, while Johan Oviedo (2-0) tossed five strong innings. Boston’s Carlos Narvaez homered, but Dustin May (7-11) allowed seven runs in just over five innings.

Guardians 4, Mariners 3

Kyle Manzardo’s two-run homer and Steven Kwan’s RBI helped Cleveland edge Seattle. Gavin Williams (9-5) struck out eight over seven innings before Cade Smith secured his ninth save. The Mariners, clinging to a wild-card spot, have now lost seven straight road contests.

Texas pounded out 17 hits, with Josh Jung driving in two and Dylan Moore and Wyatt Langford hitting home runs. Merrill Kelly (11-7) earned the win, while Oakland’s Mason Barnett struggled in his MLB debut, surrendering five runs. Brent Rooker and Lawrence Butler both homered for the A’s.

Angels 4, Astros 1

Oswald Peraza’s clutch two-run single in the ninth lifted Los Angeles over Houston. Kyle Hendricks pitched six steady innings, while Kenley Jansen closed the door for his 24th save. Houston’s bats again faltered, going 1-for-8 with runners in scoring position.

Marlins 11, Mets 8

Connor Norby’s seventh-inning sacrifice fly put Miami ahead for good in a slugfest. Joey Wiemer added three hits and three RBIs, while Juan Soto carried the Mets with two home runs. Despite Soto’s heroics, Miami sealed the win with a two-run double from Norby in the ninth.

Cardinals 4, Reds 2

St. Louis leaned on Nathan Church’s two RBIs and home runs from Willson Contreras and Pedro Pages to down Cincinnati. Michael McGreevy (6-2) pitched six innings of one-run ball, while Kyle Leahy earned his first save. Matt McLain homered for the Reds, who have lost eight of their last nine.

Phillies 3, Braves 2 (10 innings)

Down to their final strike, the Phillies rallied as Trea Turner lined a two-run single in the 10th to defeat Atlanta. Cristopher Sanchez threw seven strong innings for Philadelphia, while Chris Sale impressed in his return from injury, striking out nine over six frames.

Padres 12, Twins 3

San Diego exploded offensively with Elias Diaz hitting two homers and Ramon Laureano adding another in a rout over Minnesota. Adrian Morejon (11-4) picked up the win in relief. Byron Buxton homered for the Twins, but Mick Abel’s rough outing (six runs in one inning) sank Minnesota’s chances.

Kyle Tucker scored twice and Michael Busch, Seiya Suzuki and Ian Happ added two hits each as Chicago edged Colorado. Javier Assad (1-1) pitched six innings, and Daniel Palencia secured the save. Colorado’s struggles continued, falling to 38-98 overall.
