Mariners 4, Rockies 3

Josh Naylor’s clutch three-run double in the eighth lifted the Seattle Mariners to a 4-3 comeback win over the Colorado Rockies. The victory clinched a playoff berth for Seattle, who have now won 15 of their last 16 games and lead the AL West by four games.

Dominic Canzone added a solo homer, while Gabe Speier and Andrés Muñoz shut the door late. Seattle’s postseason push is a reminder to check the latest MLB playoff odds for value on division futures.

Yankees 3, White Sox 2

Jose Caballero played hero with a walk-off single in the ninth as New York clinched its playoff berth against the Chicago White Sox. Cody Bellinger’s bases-loaded walk tied it just before Caballero’s winner.

The Yankees, winners in 20 of their last 28, continue to fight for AL East seeding. For bettors, their late-season form makes them a team to track on the handicappers leaderboard.

Guardians 5, Tigers 2

Cleveland and Detroit are now tied atop the AL Central after the Guardians rallied behind Gavin Williams’ 12 strikeouts. Williams outdueled Tarik Skubal, and Cleveland secured the season tiebreaker.

Daniel Schneemann drove in two runs as Cleveland pulled ahead with a small-ball rally. This race remains one of the tightest in baseball, and the expert betting guide has more insight into divisional odds.

Diamondbacks 5, Dodgers 4

Geraldo Perdomo’s walk-off single in the ninth capped a two-run rally as Arizona stormed back against Los Angeles. The D-backs stayed within one game of the NL wild card while spoiling Shohei Ohtani’s strong six-inning start.

Teoscar Hernández drove in three for LA, but the bullpen collapse cost them ground in the NL West race.

Athletics 5, Astros 1

Oakland stunned Houston behind Jacob Wilson and Tyler Soderstrom, each with two hits and an RBI. Jeffrey Springs combined with three relievers to hold the Astros to just three hits.

The loss was Houston’s fourth straight, dropping them one game out of the AL wild card. Bettors following the daily consensus picks can see how Houston’s struggles affect projections.

Pirates 4, Reds 2

Oneil Cruz launched a two-run homer and the Pirates’ bullpen pieced together 4 1/3 scoreless innings to edge Cincinnati. Rookie Hunter Barco earned his first MLB win in his debut.

Elly De La Cruz went deep for the Reds, but double plays in the late innings stalled their offense.

Braves 3, Nationals 2

Michael Harris II hit two solo home runs and rookie Hurston Waldrep fired six solid innings to help Atlanta extend its winning streak to 10. It’s the Braves’ first double-digit run since 2022.

Washington’s James Wood homered, but the Nationals fell for the ninth time in their last 12 matchups with Atlanta.

Twins 4, Rangers 1

Kody Clemens provided the offense with two RBIs, and Zebby Matthews pitched seven strong innings as Minnesota handed Texas its eighth straight loss. The defeat officially eliminated the Rangers from postseason contention.

Patrick Corbin took the loss despite keeping it close, but Texas’ lineup offered little support.

Marlins 6, Phillies 5 (11 innings)

Heriberto Hernandez tied the game with a ninth-inning homer before Xavier Edwards’ sac fly in the 11th lifted Miami to its seventh straight win.

The Marlins are surging, winning 11 of 12, while Philadelphia fell further behind Milwaukee in the NL race.

Padres 7, Brewers 0

Ryan O’Hearn crushed a grand slam as San Diego blanked Milwaukee. Luis Arraez and Jose Iglesias added homers, while Randy Vásquez tossed seven one-hit innings.

The Padres inched closer to both the Dodgers in the NL West and the Cubs in the wild-card chase.

Mets 9, Cubs 7

Francisco Alvarez’s eighth-inning two-run homer capped a comeback as New York erased a five-run deficit to beat Chicago. Brandon Nimmo also delivered a three-run blast.

The Mets moved one game ahead of Cincinnati for the final NL wild-card slot.

Red Sox 4, Blue Jays 1

Nathaniel Lowe and Carlos Narváez each drove in two runs as Boston took down Toronto. Lucas Giolito allowed one run in 4 2/3 innings before handing it to the bullpen.

The Blue Jays remain narrowly ahead of the Yankees in the AL East, but their margin is shrinking.

Cardinals 9, Giants 8

Brendan Donovan tied the game with his fourth double of the night, and Alec Burleson’s RBI single capped a two-run ninth as St. Louis stunned San Francisco.

Heliot Ramos homered for the Giants, who were eliminated from postseason contention with the loss.

Royals 8, Angels 4

Cole Ragans struck out 10 in five innings as Kansas City downed Los Angeles. Maikel García added three hits and three runs, while Salvador Perez moved into second on the Royals’ all-time RBI list.

The Angels dropped their 10th in 11 games, continuing a brutal stretch.

Orioles 6, Rays 0

Dean Kremer spun 6 1/3 scoreless innings and Colton Cowser blasted a two-run homer as Baltimore shut out Tampa Bay.

The Orioles remain firmly in the AL East race, while Tampa Bay struggled to generate offense.
