Angels Edge Red Sox in 10th, 3–2
Los Angeles rookie Christian Moore delivered a coming-out party at Fenway Park, smashing a game-tying solo homer in the eighth and then drilling a two-run walk-off shot off Justin Wilson (2–1) in the 10th. Moore’s late heroics capped off a seesaw affair in which Boston starter Garrett Crochet dazzled, striking out ten over seven scoreless innings and holding the Angels to just three hits.
Angel starter Tyler Anderson (6–4) battled through five innings, surrendering one run on two hits with five strikeouts before giving way to Reid Detmers (3–2), who earned the win despite allowing one unearned tally in extras. Red Sox third baseman Marcelo Mayer sparked Boston’s fightback with three hits—including an RBI single in the 10th that briefly gave Boston the lead—and lowered his season ERA overall.

Reds Walk It Off in 11th, 5–4
Cincinnati erased a 4–1 deficit with a three-run double by Christian Encarnacion-Strand in the seventh, then leaned on Gavin Lux to deliver the decisive RBI single in the 11th. Rookie Chase Burns electrified his debut, fanning eight over five innings with zero walks, becoming just the third pitcher since 1961 to punch out each of his first five batters.
Spencer Steer tied the game earlier in extras with a clutch single, and righty Connor Phillips (1–0) picked up the win despite yielding a go-ahead wild pitch to Aaron Judge in the bottom of the inning. Mark Leiter Jr. (4–4) tossed a clean 10th but was charged with the loss when Lux’s liner found daylight in right field.

Rangers Rally for 10th-Inning Win, 6–5
Texas starter Jacob Latz flirted with history, carrying a no-hitter into the seventh before Kennedy broke through. The Rangers fell behind 5–4 on back-to-back homers by the Orioles’ Gary Sánchez, Ramón Urías and Ryan O’Hearn in the seventh, but Texas answered with two runs in the eighth and won it in the 10th after a replay-overturned play at the plate.
Luke Jackson (W) and Robert García closed out the final 2⅓ innings, with García working around a runner at third with one out in the 10th for his sixth save. Evan Carter, Corey Seager and Josh Jung each collected two hits in the comeback, while Charlie Morton (L) yielded three runs on four hits across five innings for Baltimore.

Tigers Dominate A’s, 11–4
Detroit erased early trouble—starter Tarik Skubal coughed up solo homers in each of the first two innings—then erupted for a five-run third, keyed by Dillon Dingler’s go-ahead three-run blast. Skubal (9–2) settled in and struck out eight across six innings, allowing just one earned run thereafter.
The Tigers never let up, adding three more in the fifth on a two-run double from Wenceel Pérez and solo shots by Kerry Carpenter and Riley Greene (who went 4-for-4). A’s starter Luis Severino (2–8) took the loss, surrendering seven runs on seven hits over 5⅓ innings in Oakland’s continued skid.

Blue Jays Slam Guardians, 10–6
Toronto pounded out 16 hits—including George Springer’s eighth career grand slam—to outlast Cleveland in a slugfest at Progressive Field. The Blue Jays jumped ahead 5–1 by the third inning and never looked back, with Eric Lauer (4–1) spinning five innings of one-run ball in a comeback season highlight.
Vladimir Guerrero Jr. finished with three RBIs, while Addison Barger and Ernie Clement each chipped in three hits apiece. On the other side, Lane Thomas belted a three-run homer and Carlos Santana added an RBI double in a losing effort for the Guardians.
Diamondbacks Shut Down White Sox, 4–1
Arizona used a tiebreaking RBI single from Alek Thomas in the seventh to snap a 1–1 deadlock and rolled to a series-clinching win in Chicago. Six D-backs pitchers combined on a three-hit gem, with Juan Morillo inducing an inning-ending double play in the eighth to preserve the lead.
Ketel Marte homered and drove in a run, and Arizona won its fifth game in six tries. Chicago threatened in the eighth but saw Miguel Vargas’s two-out grounder end in frustration against Morillo.
