Week 18 NFL Picks

Week 18 NFL Picks

Week 18 in the NFL is a bittersweet time for fans. Depending on how your team did in the regular season will give fans mixed emotions. This week signifies the end of the regular season, but we are still here for your Week 18 NFL picks!

This has been a season to remember for many fans, however, it’s been a year to forget for many as well. There’s still quite a bit to be decided with the Week 18 slate in 2023 being more important than most in recent history.

This week is unlike any other of the season in that all games – with the exception of a Saturday doubleheader – are played on Sunday. January 7 sees a 14-game slate, however, at the time of writing, game times are still to be determined.

What To Watch For Week 18 NFL Picks

Both the AFC & NFC South are still up for grabs. Adding to the drama, all four teams in both divisions are set to play each other. These four games will have a lot to say when determining who gets a home game during the Wild Card round of the 2023 NFL Playoffs.

Depending on which teams choose to sit players or ride the year out, could go a long way in knowing who to bet on. Our Week 18 NFL picks will feature top plays from our expert sports handicappers here at Sports Hub.

Some other division matchups to watch are Minnesota at Detroit, Chicago and Green Bay, Buffalo at Miami, Philadelphia at New York Giants Pittsburgh at Baltimore, Denver at Las Vegas, and the Los Angeles Rams at San Francisco.

The truth is, there are a lot of extremely important games in Week 18 and we will be watching them all. We’ll take a closer look at point spreads and totals for Week 18 NFL picks.

Week 18 NFL Picks – Point Spreads, Moneylines & Totals

Best Pick ATS

There are a number of good Week 18 NFL picks to make against the spread, but focusing on a matchup in the AFC East is the way to go. The New York Jets and New England Patriots have both had losing seasons, but this is still a terrific rivalry.

This is going to be a game in which both offenses have struggled mightily all season long, but at some point, one team has to find the end zone. Playing at home will give the Patriots a boost in this game, and they are going to win and cover the spread in this matchup.

New England Patriots -2.5

Best Moneyline Pick

The Chicago Bears are set to visit the Green Bay Packers for a massive rivalry game in the NFC North Division. Chicago has been on a huge run to end the year, and they are the only team that can keep the Packers from getting to the postseason.

Green Bay has absolutely dominated this rivalry over the last few years, but things are about to change in this matchup. This Bears team has a ton of momentum and betting on the Bears to pull off the upset is one of the top Week 18 NFL picks to make.

Chicago Bears +135

Best Total Pick

The Buffalo Bills and Miami Dolphins are meeting for the right to win the AFC East on Sunday Night Football, and this is going to be a terrific battle. Miami has been in control all season long, but the Bills have been closing the gap in a hurry.

It’s hard to find two better offensive teams in the NFL, and both teams are going to be on the attack in this matchup. The over/under line is set at 49.5 total points for this game, but it’s going to take at least 30 points to win this matchup.

Buffalo Bills/Miami Dolphins: Over 49.5 Total Points

Best Player Prop

The Philadelphia Eagles are going to be trying to get back on track this weekend after they have dropped four of their last five games. Philadelphia is heading to New York to face a Giants team that is feisty, but not very good.

New York has had a tough time scoring points all season long, and that’s going to set the Eagles up for some good positions on offense. Jalen Hurts has been a huge weapon on offense all season long, and he is going to find the end zone again in Week 18.

Jalen Hurts Anytime Touchdown Scorer

Best Team Prop

The Jacksonville Jaguars head to Tennessee in a must-win situation and this team has not been playing their best football. Something simply has to change in Week 18, and this Jaguars team is going to be determined to make that happen.

It has been a rough year for the Tennessee Titans, and they just aren’t going to be a team that puts up much of a fight in the season finale. Bet on the Jaguars to be leading at halftime and also to win this game as they win the AFC South Division.

Jacksonville Jaguars: Halftime/Fulltime Winner

Tampa Bay Buccaneers vs. Carolina Panthers

The Tampa Bay Buccaneers head into Week 18 needing a win, and they are facing a Carolina Panthers team that has won just two times this season. Carolina has nothing to play for in this game, while Tampa Bay can still win the NFC South Division title.

This should be a game in which the Buccaneers are going to roll to a big win, and they should take control early. Carolina has just been a massive disappointment all season long, and they won’t put up much of a fight in this game.

Tampa Bay Buccaneers: Halftime/Fulltime Winner

Cleveland Browns vs. Cincinnati Bengals

The AFC North Division continues to be extremely competitive, and there is a big rivalry game set to take place in Week 18. The Cleveland Browns are big underdogs in this game against the Cincinnati Bengals as they have already clinched a playoff spot.

Cincinnati is still playing with a backup quarterback though, and it’s hard to trust that they are going to be good enough to win a game convincingly. Taking the 4.5 points and backing the Cleveland Browns is going to be the way to go.

Cleveland Browns +4.5

Atlanta Falcons vs. New Orleans Saints

The Atlanta Falcons and New Orleans Saints are both trying to battle it out for the AFC South Championship as they meet up on Sunday. Atlanta has been heading in the wrong direction, while New Orleans looks like they are ready to claim the title.

The Falcons just don’t have much of an offense at this point of the season, and that defense has had trouble stopping teams. Bet on the New Orleans Saints at -3.5 as they are going to roll to a big win on Thursday night.

New Orleans Saints -3.5

Kansas City Chiefs vs. Los Angeles Chargers

The Kansas City Chiefs have already won the AFC West Division again this season, but they are now wrapping up the year on the road in Los Angeles. This Chiefs team has not made things easy this season, but they are facing a Chargers team that has been a disaster.

Los Angeles is the betting favorite in this game, largely because the Chiefs are expected to rest plenty of regulars for this matchup. While that might be the case, Kansas City just has too much talent and they will pick up a road win to end the year.

Kansas City Chiefs Moneyline

Los Angeles Rams vs. San Francisco 49ers

There are a number of different ways to go when making Week 18 NFL picks on this big matchup between the Los Angeles Rams and San Francisco 49ers. These two teams are likely to battle it out in the postseason at some point, and this will be a nice preview.

Neither team will want to show their hand much in this game, but the 49ers continue to feed the ball to one specific player in the end zone. Bet on Christian McCaffrey to find the end zone on Sunday as he just continues to add to his incredible total.

Week 18 NFL Picks FAQ

Why is there no TNF or MNF during Week 18 of the 2023 NFL season?

The NFL schedules all games on Sunday – with the exception of a Saturday doubleheader- during the last week of the season so there will be no unfair advantages heading into the playoffs. Instead of having longer to gameplan and/or nurse injuries (TNF) or less time (MNF), all games are scheduled for the same day.
