Giants 7, Rockies 4

Rafael Devers set the tone with a two-run homer in the first, then tempers flared: benches cleared and punches were thrown, leading to the ejections of Colorado starter Kyle Freeland and San Francisco’s Matt Chapman and Willy Adames. Wilmer Flores also homered as the Giants matched a franchise-relocation record with homers in 16 straight games. Logan Webb (13–9) worked five solid innings (2 R, 7 H). Hunter Goodman did the damage for Colorado with a homer among three hits and four RBIs; the loss officially locked in a third straight 100-loss season for the Rockies (Freeland 3–14).

Blue Jays 12, Reds 9

George Springer blasted his franchise-best 23rd leadoff homer in the first and added a two-run shot in the fourth. Bo Bichette launched a three-run bomb and Daulton Varsho went deep as Toronto snapped its skid. Louis Varland (4–3) steadied things in relief and Jeff Hoffman collected save No. 30. Austin Hays and TJ Friedl homered for Cincinnati, which scratched Nick Lodolo (illness) and used Scott Barlow for an opener’s inning.
Betting angle: High-octane lineups + bullpen games often swing margins late—see when the run line offers better value than the moneyline.

Mets 12, Tigers 5

Luis Torrens crushed a three-run shot, Pete Alonso added two solo homers, and rookie Nolan McLean improved to 4–0 as New York erupted for six in the seventh. Jeff McNeil (3 hits, 3 RBIs) and Juan Soto (HR) joined the party. Detroit’s Wenceel Perez had three hits and two RBIs, but call-up Sawyer Gipson-Long (0–2) was tagged for six in four innings.

Pirates 9, Dodgers 7

Jared Triolo laced two doubles and drove in two, while Tommy Pham’s two-run double capped a five-run push as Pittsburgh notched home win No. 40 and nine wins in its past 12. Shohei Ohtani went deep for HR No. 46 among three hits, but L.A. has dropped three of four.

Diamondbacks 5, Rangers 3

Ketel Marte smoked a tiebreaking three-run homer in the seventh, and Arizona took five of seven overall. Nabil Crismatt (6 1/3 IP, 2 R) kept Texas in check. The Rangers mustered no hits in nine RISP at-bats despite multi-hit nights from Michael Helman, Alejandro Osuna and Joc Pederson.

Cardinals 2, Athletics 1

Ivan Herrera’s two-run homer stood up behind Miles Mikolas (7–10; 6 IP, 1 R, 5 H). A’s starter Luis Severino spun five scoreless, but Michael Kelly (4–3) took the loss after St. Louis broke through.

Rays 6, Mariners 5

Junior Caminero crossed the 40-HR/100-RBI thresholds with a four-RBI night, ripping the go-ahead double as Tampa Bay won its fifth straight and eighth in 10. Kevin Kelly (1–3) bridged the middle; Garrett Cleavinger closed for save No. 2. Seattle got solo shots from Jorge Polanco, Cal Raleigh and Julio Rodríguez, but went 0-for-the-big spot late.
Betting angle: Tight one-run games highlight the importance of price shopping on MLB moneyline betting—especially when elite bullpens are involved.

Red Sox 11, Guardians 7

Boston broke a tie with a four-run eighth and has now won three straight. Nathaniel Lowe and Ceddanne Rafaela homered, and Justin Slaten (2–4) got the win. Cleveland went deep four times (Jhonkensy Noel, Austin Hedges, David Fry, Brayan Rocchio) but couldn’t hold the line in relief.

Nationals 5, Marlins 2

James Wood (2-run HR) and Cade Cavalli (2–1; 5 IP, 2 R) powered Washington to a second straight win after an eight-game skid. Daylen Lile and Jacob Young added RBI knocks. Miami managed four singles; Adam Mazur (0–2) allowed five runs (four earned) over six.

Angels 5, Royals 1

Rookie lefty Mitch Farris impressed in his MLB debut: 5 IP, 1 R, 3 H, 2 BB, 3 K. Jo Adell went 3-for-4 with a 454-foot, two-run blast. Kansas City mustered four hits; former Angel Michael Lorenzen (5–9) took the loss despite six solid innings.

Cubs 4, Braves 3

Kyle Tucker’s three-run homer set the tone and Ian Happ added an RBI single as Chicago grabbed its fourth win in five. Shota Imanaga (9–6) went six (3 R), and Daniel Palencia secured save No. 22. Ozzie Albies and Eli White homered for Atlanta, which has dropped five of six.

Orioles 6, Padres 2

Emmanuel Rivera drove in four and Tyler Wells (first start in 16+ months) returned with 5 IP, 2 R for the O’s. Yu Darvish (3–5) yielded four runs (three earned) in four-plus; Luis Arraez’s two-run homer was San Diego’s offense.

White Sox 12, Twins 3

Andrew Benintendi erupted (4-for-5, two HRs, five RBIs) and Chicago piled on with homers from Lenyn Sosa and Kyle Teel. Brooks Baldwin added three hits; Davis Martin (6–9) handled six innings. Minnesota’s bullpen (Thomas Hatch) absorbed the damage after a short start.

Yankees 7, Astros 1

Jazz Chisholm Jr. (two HRs) and Trent Grisham (grand slam) supplied all the thump the Yankees needed. Max Fried (15–5) spun seven strong (1 R, 4 H). Framber Valdez (12–8) was tagged for six in five.
