South Carolina 3, Hawaii 0

Brady Westbrooks carried South Carolina to a must-win 3-0 victory over Hawaii, tossing a complete-game four-hit shutout. The Southeast Region champions capitalized on timely hitting late, with Andrew Bogan’s two-run single in the sixth providing a cushion. Joe Giulietti added two hits, including a double, to spark the offense.

Hawaii’s pitchers kept the game close, but a lack of offense hurt them. Mason Mitani recorded their only extra-base hit with a double, while Bronson Fermahin and Logan Brokaw combined for seven hits allowed across six innings.

South Carolina moves on to the U.S. consolation semifinal, where they’ll face either South Dakota or Washington.

Aruba 6, Canada 1

Aruba stayed alive with a 6-1 victory over Canada, relying on four pitchers to combine for a four-hitter. Starter Anthony Santos gave up the lone run but also blasted a first-inning solo homer that tied the game. The bullpen of Liam Pena Caraballo, Arnold Gismar Martha, and Rylan Quandt shut Canada down the rest of the way.

Canada’s offense started hot, loading the bases in the first and scoring on a fielder’s choice, but they couldn’t break through again. Pitching depth and timely hitting gave Aruba control.
